With 18 main-roster fighters and 126 outfit colors, Street Fighter 6 can easily turn into a martial arts-themed fashion show. There are now some fashionista characters like Manon and Marisa in the game who encourage players to change outfits, try out new looks, and be more careful about their color matching.

But it also appears that some players are in need of a fashion intervention because unlocking outfit colors is just easier said than done. To help with that, this guide explains every method for getting colors and offers advice on saving SF6 currencies while unlocking them.

How to Unlock All Outfit Colors in Street Fighter 6

To unlock colors for characters in Street Fighter 6, players must purchase them from the Shop using either 50 Fighter Coins or 1,000 Drive Tickets. Unfortunately, obtaining these colors through gameplay is currently not possible, and the only options available are to grind for Drive Tickets or make use of microtransactions.

As colors 1 & 2 for outfits are already unlocked, each fighter can access seven distinct patterns at the Shop, ranging from colors 3 to 9. So, to unlock all 126 SF6 colors, players would need to spend 6,300 Fighter Coins or 126,000 Drive Tickets.

If players want to save money when purchasing outfit colors, it is recommended that they buy them in bundles rather than individual deals. This is because each package comes with a 10% discount, which can save up to 630 FC and 12,600 Drive Tickets compared to buying colors individually.

How to Get Colors in World Tour

Avatar outfit colors do not require microtransactions. In the World Tour mode, players can unlock new colors and patterns by collecting dyes. Dyes are enemy drops and loot box rewards that allow players to change their appearance in Apparel Stores.

It's important to know that every Avatar color is created by combining multiple dye bottles. To achieve the desired color, players must use the right ingredients. For instance, the orange outfit color requires players to collect yellow and red dyes separately and mix them together.

How to Equip Costume Colors

In the arcade and online modes, players can change outfit color in the character selection menu (under Costume). However, in the World Tour mode, they must visit an Apparel Store and head to the “Change Color” menu.

Street Fighter 6 is available now for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
