In Street Fighter 6, Fighter Coin (FC) is an in-game currency that unlocks outfits and stages and allows players to activate Fighting Passes. But unlike the game’s other currencies, Drive Ticket and Zenny, Fighter Coin is trickier to earn and seems much rarer. This guide, therefore, explains how Street Fighter 6 players can get more FC, how much it costs, and what it’s used for.

How to Get Fighter Coins

Unfortunately, there is no way to get Fighter Coins in the game. This Street Fighter 6 currency is microtransaction-exclusive, and the only method for earning them is by purchasing coin packages from the in-game store.

Capcom hasn’t revealed any plans for letting players farm Fighter Coins through game modes or Season Passes. But based on the microtransactions’ description, it’s likely that players will earn coins as rewards at some point. (Though it’s still unclear how the rewarding mechanics will work.)

Street Fighter 6 Fighter Coin Price

Based on the available purchase options, each Fighter Coin costs approximately $0.02 (or 2 cents). The most cost-effective choice for players, however, is to opt for the largest pack, which includes 2,750 coins and provides 55 coins for every dollar spent.

Here’s a breakdown of the Fighter Coin (FC) price in Street Fighter 6:

  • 250 Fighter Coins for $6.99.
  • 610 Fighter Coins for $11.99.
  • 1,250 Fighter Coins for $23.99.
  • 2,750 Fighter Coins $49.99.

Since purchasing all Outfit 2s costs only 900 FC, players are advised to get the 1,250-coin pack.

What Are Fighter Coins Used For

FC can be used to buy Goods Shop items. But it’s a crucial currency for getting DLC characters, Yearly Passes, Fighting Stages, and unique outfits.

Another alternative for Fighter Coin is Drive Ticket, which players can earn by fighting in the Battle Hub or participating in community events. The two downsides are (1) purchasing items with Drive Tickets is much more expensive, and (2) some items, like DLC characters, cannot be obtained with this currency.

The Hub Goods Shop can be found in the main room of the Battle Hub near the Body Shop. Talk to Manny Rose, the clerk, to see the available items and change the appearance of any character .

Street Fighter 6 is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
