Street Fighter 6 is home to refurbished old characters and newly designed young fighters. The game has given familiar warriors like Ryu, Ken, and Luke more realistic looks while introducing fresh styles with creative themes like that of Kimberly and Manon.

But the thing is that most of the coolest outfits in Street Fighter 6 are microtransaction-exclusive, leaving players wondering which ones are worth it. To help fashion-conscious fans, the following top picks demonstrate the optimal options for main and alternative costumes.

10 Jamie (Outfit 2, Color 01)

Despite being a low-tier character in SF6, Jamie has a trendy costume that makes him a candid fashionista. His secondary outfit consists of a complementary puffer jacket, pants, and sneakers, which reflect his personality as a brawler with a drunken boxing style.

While Jamie’s default costume is in line with his fighting technique, Zui Quan, his outfit #2 better matches his backstory. According to the SF6 lore, Jamie was raised by his grandmother and spent most of his childhood on the streets, where he mastered the art of brawl.

9 Guile (Outfit 2, Color 01)

Guile’s alternative costume brings back the good old military vibes. Color 01 of this outfit gives him a sleeveless undershirt with a pair of combat trousers that show off Guile’s muscles, tattoos, and scars. This look is popular because it resembles Guile’s classic character design in Street Fighter Alpha 3.

Of course, Guile’s new apparel is also a nice touch. It emphasizes his Air Force background, giving him the tough pilot appearance he deserves.

8 Cammy (Outfit 1, Color 01)

Cammy startles her enemies with her moves

Cammy’s revamped appearance in SF6 has proven to be a smart move by Capcom. Instead of her revealing classic outfit, Cammy now wears a thematic cropped jacket with a pair of yoga pants that give her a mature and battle-ready look. Since Cammy is a Delta Rad special agent, it only makes sense if she wears a less flashy outfit to keep her identity a secret (and outfit #1 assists her in achieving that objective).

7 Marisa (Outfit 2, Color 10)

As the new muscle woman of the Street Fighter franchise, Marisa has one of the most interesting appearances in the entire game: She is a tall and sturdy fighter that exudes femininity regardless.

However, Marisa’s default costume is not as stylish as players would hope. It’s actually her alternative look, the Italian mafia suit, that unveils her good taste in fashion, as it emboldens both her feminine soul and masculine body.

6 Ken (Outfit 2, Color 01)

Reminiscing the memories of Street Fighter 2, Ken’s second outfit with color 01 is one of the best looks in the game. This red Karategi changes Ken’s hairstyle and, more importantly, brings out his classic brash and flashy personality.

Of course, Ken’s modern appearance is also a thematic choice; it’s just that nothing can beat the nostalgia of Karategi Ken. His outfit #2 with red color is so iconic that Street Fighter lovers can’t get enough of it.

5 Kimberly (Outfit 1, Color 01)

A new character in Street Fighter 6, Kimberly is a 90s pop lover who also has a thing for street art. And she exhibits that with a puff-sleeve crop top, a stylish headband, a retro Walkman, and a bunch of explosives spray cans.

Kimberly’s secondary outfit is also a theme-appropriate design, but it couldn’t make it to the top picks as it's a bit expensive. (Players can buy better outfits for 50 Fighter Coins.)

4 Manon (Outfit 2, Color 08)

It’s a bit disappointing that Street Fighter 6’s true fashionista doesn’t top the list of best outfits. However, Manon’s alternate dress is stylish enough to keep her in the competition. Despite being overly flamboyant, her ballet-inspired puffy dress, mini skirt, and tight pants show off her love for attention and touch on her backstory.

Manon’s second outfit is quite cohesive with her fighting style since most of her moves are inspired by ballet choreographies.

3 Ryu (Outfit 1, Color 01)

For fans of the classic Street Fighter vibes, getting Ryu's alternative outfit is a must. However, his revamped look in SF6 is equally impressive. Ryu’s secondary costume turns him into a seasoned veteran with an outgrown beard and a worn cloak. Of course, this “old man” look might not perfectly match the lore. But it certainly exposes a deeper and darker aspect of Ryu’s personality, adding depth to his character.

2 Chun-Li (Outfit 1, Color 01)

Like Cammy, Chun-Li has matured in Street Fighter 6, and her outfit echoes that. Her modern costume is a basic Keikogi that allows her to move freely and react quickly. Although Chun-Li’s new look is not as showy as her classic, it goes well with SF6’s lore—especially when it comes to the World Tour mode.

Since the story portrays her as an experienced martial arts master, Chun-Li needs unpretentious apparel like the one featured in her first costume.

Players can unlock Chun-Li’s classic outfit by befriending her in the World Tour mode. The trick is to gift her valuable items and earn 100 bonding points.

1 JP (Outfit 2, Color 09)

JP’s second outfit is by far the best costume design in the entire game. It has fascinating details like a bolo tie and a custom-made staff, which embolden his villain backstory. Color 09 of this outfit is even better as it changes JP’s hair and beard, giving him a younger—and more sinister—appearance.

Looking back at the franchise’s history, it’s safe to say that JP stands out as the most well-dressed character. He’s also believed to have some sort of OCD which contributes to his love for clean and classy outfits.

Street Fighter6 is available now for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
