Twitch streamer QTCinderella revealed the date for the much-awaited Streamer Awards 2023 for March 11, 2023. She previously teased that it was happening on March on her Twitter account earlier this month, but only made the official announcement on the exact date during a recent podcast guesting.

Created by QTCinderella, The Streamer Awards is a show dedicated to live streamers in 27 categories, where winners were chosen via fan votes. It had its inaugural ceremony on March 12, 2022, with QTCinderella hosting the show with fellow streamer Maya Higa. The event was attended by various streamers, including popular names like xQc, Sykkuno, Pokimane, and Streamer of the Year awardee Ludwig.

The first Streamer Awards was a success as it peaked at over 380,000 concurrent viewers on Twitch, and fans wanted to know when the next one will be. Fortunately, they don't have to keep guessing as QTCinderella announced on Anthony Padilla's I Spent a Day With podcast series that the next Streamer Awards will be on March 11, 2023. While she hasn't revealed other details like the venue, her co-host, and nominees, she mentioned that she will be making the announcement on social media soon.

QTCinderella reflected on last year's Streamer Awards, sharing that she didn't expect it to blow up like it did and thinking that it would only peak at 100,000 views instead of 380,000. The streamer also got candid about the negative comments she received about allegedly inviting only her friends, and people assuming Ludwig won Streamer of the Year because they're in a relationship. QTCinderella emphasized that she wanted to celebrate streamers of all kinds and that Streamer Awards winners were purely chosen by the fans, and that she wouldn't do anything to tarnish the sanctity of the event for the sake of views.

With The Streamer Awards coming in a few months, fans can probably expect new categories and new names in the nominations list. Although QTCinderella hasn't announced when the voting period will be, fans might want to keep their eyes peeled to root for their favorites to bring home the golden Peepo trophy.

Known for organizing various streamer events, QTCinderella said she's looking forward to hosting more in the future. Apart from The Streamer Awards, she is planning to host a seven-day baking competition for streamers named "Master Baker," which she has yet to reveal the date of. Fans might also see the comeback of QTCinderella's other events at a bigger scale, like "Girl's Trip" and her Beyblade tournament, especially now that she's signed with esports organization Misfits.
