John Wick’s ability to think and act fast makes his assassination schemes a walkover even when equally talented gunmen & assassins are his targets. Throughout the John Wick movies, John Wick used many weapons ranging from pistols to armor-piercing shotguns & deadly knives. However, John Wick also uses tools not designed for murder as weapons, one feature that makes him a talented assassin. With this in mind, these are eight of the strangest weapons John Wick has used in his thrilling fights.

8 Cars (John Wick: Chapter 1 & 2)

Although cars can be used as weapons, the way John Wick uses them to kill is creative and impressive. One of the best scenes involving John Wick's car weaponry acts is the opening scene in John Wick: Chapter 2. Aiming to recover his stolen Mustang from the inventory of Viggo's brother, John Wick breaks into a warehouse and successfully reclaims his car.

Consequently, John was followed by henchmen, all aimed at capturing or killing him. Unfortunately, one of the hardest things any character can do in the John Wick franchise is killing John Wick. Using his Mustang as a weapon, John killed many men at the warehouse. In one of these encounters, John Wick used his car door to slam into one of his attackers, ripping off the metallic door alongside the attacker.

7 A Biker Helmet (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum)

After arriving in New York following his visit to the “One Who Sits Above The Table," John Wick was tailed by Zero and students, who all chased him swiftly on bikes. In one of the awesome "bike scenes," John Wick fought two attackers single-handedly.

Using the helmet on one of the duo, John Wick struck his head, causing his death almost instantly. This feat shows just how intelligent the John Wick character is in using the best options available to achieve his goal.

6 An Ax (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum)

After Winston declared John Wick "excommunicado," many bounty hunters chased after the assassin to claim the 15-million-dollar reward. However, the criminals who took this path met their doom in grotesque ways. In this regard, a group of Asian martial arts fighters accosted John Wick, setting up the moment for a knives-throwing fight, of which John Wick emerged the victor.

Although on his last breath, one of the opposition fighters remained, pushing John Wick to take him through death's door by embedding an ax in his skull.

5 A Wire (John Wick: Chapter 2)

Chapter 2 starts with Abram Tarasov trying to escape John Wick's wrath by abandoning his base. While he explained John Wick's qualities to a junior subordinate, the movie showed scenes of John Wick quietly killing people in the background.

In one of these kills, John used a thin wire to choke his victim to death. Although the movie did not reveal where he got the wire from, it showed the creativity behind the kill. The kill also served as a prelude to the reclaim of John Wick's car.

4 A Belt (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum)

John Wick: 3 – Parabellum was packed with a good deal of martial arts compared to the older movies in the franchise. One awesome fight that occurred towards the end of the movie was John Wick's clash with two of Zero's hands. Unable to keep up with the movements of his opposition, John Wick was forced to use his belt as a weapon to even out the battle odds.

His attackers had short swords, while John Wick had his leather belt. However, John Wick forced his attackers into submission using a strap-like material, making viewers marvel at his fighting ingenuity.

3 A Horse (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum)

Two incredible horse scenes stand out in John Wick: Chapter 3. Although neither is less impressive, the first left more of an impression on John Wick's victims. Pursued into a stable filled with horses, John Wick resorted to using horses as a weapon by doing the unthinkable.

By startling a horse and forcing it to kick using its back legs, John Wick struck two of his assailants in the face, killing them in the process. What’s more, John Wick pulled off this move more than once, showing that his battle intelligence wasn’t a fluke.

2 A Book (John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum)

One of the best fight scenes in the John Wick franchise is the Ernest-John Wick fight in Chapter 3, the first fight in the movie. After Winston declared John excommunicado, he was given an hour to prepare for his attackers before the hunt officially started. To prepare for the incoming battles, John Wick first headed to the New York library to recover some items for a planned escape.

However, Ernest attacked John Wick, disregarding the one-hour countdown since it wasn't over yet. Unfortunate for the giant man, he was killed with a mere book by John Wick. This scene proves that even the safest of tools can become a murder weapon at the hands of John Wick.

1 The Pencil (John Wick: Chapter 2 & Stories)

John Wick's legendary kill at the bar with a pencil is a widely-feared story in the John Wick world. The Boogeyman story, shared even among high-ranking mafia leaders in fear, already gave fans a glimpse into the Wick story before John Wick made his first kill in Chapter 1.

The famed Boogeyman story appeared to be true after John Wick killed two men with a pencil. Attracted by Santino D' Antonio's bounty placement, these two men attacked John Wick, hoping to secure the reward. Sadly, John Wick gave them a reward of his own by sending them to the afterlife using a pencil.
