Fans have been loving the first part of Stranger Things season four since it was released on May 27th, with the concluding episodes to be released next month. Now, a brand-new teaser offers an intense look at what can be expected.

The first part of Stranger Things season 4 was extremely long-awaited, with the previous season being released three whole years ago in 2019. This long wait is not reflected in the show's timeline, but the characters have certainly come a long way in the time that has passed. With some strong horror themes, a very 1980s setting, and some intensely gruesome moments, this has been the scariest season so far, and it is a sharp contrast to the teen romances and fun montages of seasons past.

Based on this new Stranger Things teaser, that will be even more the case with the concluding two episodes. Though the teaser is a short thirty seconds, it is action-packed from front to back. Fan-favorite Stranger Things characters are shown in some truly difficult-looking positions, with an ominous voice-over from the season's villain. These final episodes definitely have the potential to be the most intense and gruesome yet, which may lead to heartbreak for fans.

This season has so far featured most of the gang separately. Some kids still remain in Hawkins while Joyce has moved Will, Eleven, and Jonathon far away from the place that caused them so much trauma. Of course, things can't go completely smoothly for the characters, and the separated groups find themselves chasing different adventures. Is it all coincidence, or is there something tying all of these events together? While this was largely revealed at the end of volume one, there are still unanswered questions for the final two episodes of Stranger Things season 4 to clear up.

Though the long break between seasons had some losing steam and wondering if the show would ever be coming back, it's returned in full force. The premiere of season 4 had Stranger Things breaking viewership records, placing even its previous seasons in the Netflix Top 10. The released episodes have been largely very well received by critics and audiences, with some minor criticisms for the episode's lengthy runtimes. Those not in favor of the long Stranger Things episodes won't be happy to know that the season finale episode is reportedly two and a half hours in length.

Stranger Things season 4, volume two will be released on Netflix on July 1, 2022.
