Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp and singer Doja Cat had the internet in a tailspin over their drama last week. The drama that went down between the two started when Doja reached out to Schnapp via DM to ask him to set her up with his Stranger Things co-star Joseph Quinn, but where do they stand now?

Quinn recently joined the Stranger Things cast for the fourth season, portraying the role of Eddie Munson, who became a favorite among fans. During the exchange between Doja Cat and Schnapp, Schnapp suggested that Doja message Quinn herself, and she responded by saying she had no way of reaching out to him. Following this, Schnapp shared the messages on his TikTok account with over 27 million followers.

After hearing about Schnapp sharing their messages on the internet, Doja took to her own TikTok to share how she felt about the Stranger Things star by calling Schnapp a “snake,” a “weasel,” and called his behavior “exploitative.” However, according to Schnapp, the two settled their problems off of social media and there are “no hard feelings” between the stars. He also revealed that he apologized to the singer for sharing the private messages on such a public platform. Schnapp further instilled that the “feud” is a thing of the past by using one of Doja's popular songs, "Kiss Me More," in his most recent TikTok video.

Although Schnapp has decided to turn the other cheek and apologize to the singer for making her uncomfortable, many fans believe that the singer wasn’t completely in the right in the situation. Her choice as a 26-year-old woman to vulgarly attack a 17-year-old boy on social media got her slammed by many online. Doja also faced backlash online for the fact she had already tweeted publicly that she had an attraction towards Quinn, prior to her choice to message Schnapp about it. All of this resulted in her losing many followers on her social media, 200,000 to be precise.

This situation between Doja Cat and Schnapp now looks to be a thing of the past, but hopefully, they’ve both learned some lessons from what transpired. Schnapp now knows that not everyone wants their business plastered all over the internet, and Doja Cat knows that kids will ultimately be kids and that nothing shared on the internet is actually really private. Nonetheless, it's excellent that the pair have come to a middle ground and no longer have any hard feelings toward one another.

Stranger Things season 4 is now available on Netflix.
