Millie Bobby Brown could be the next big name to join the Star Wars universe. The Stranger Things star is reportedly on Disney's radar for new Star Wars projects, and conversations are now underway.

Brown has reportedly already spoken to Disney executives, and they believe her appeal to the younger demographic would make her valuable to the Star Wars franchise. Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy is also aware of Brown's desire to appear in a Star Wars film or play a central role in a new television series for Disney Plus, and it is estimated that she could take home as much as $12.6 million for her first feature.

According to sources close to The Sun, these talks are still in their preliminary stages, and it is still unclear whether Disney will offer her a contract anytime soon. At this time, Brown has a number of projects lined up on her IMDb page, including Enola Holmes2, Damsel, The Girls I've Been With, and The Thing About Jellyfish. Additionally, Brown is still fully occupied with Stranger Things, so Disney may want to revisit these discussions once she is no longer committed to a major franchise. Given her busy schedule, it could be months before Disney makes Brown's involvement in a Star Wars project official.

Some fans have thrown out the idea that Brown should play a young Princess Leia or some relative of her supposed lookalike, Natalie Portman's Padme Amidala. But there is a higher likelihood that she will be cast as a new character since recasting iconic figures can often be challenging to get right. Kennedy herself has indicated that Lucasfilm will be moving away from that in the future in order to focus on bringing new names into the Star Wars universe.

Brown rose to stardom thanks to her portrayal of Eleven, the telekinetic heroine of Netflix's hit TV show Stranger Things. She has easily become one of the most recognizable faces of the franchise, making her a highly marketable choice for producers today. Beyond her star power, she is also a talented actress who has received multiple nominations for her work in Stranger Things, including the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

Stranger Things season 4 vol. 1 is now streaming on Netflix, while the Star Wars saga is currently available on Disney Plus.
