In the newly release Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, players can upgrade their tools, build, and fix items with a variety of materials. One of the late game Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town tool upgrades requires Orichalcum, the rarest ore to find in the game.
Orichalcum
While beginning players will only have access to stone and possible iron ore, there are several materials that can continue to upgrade player's tools to do bigger and better things. Some of the ore that players can find in caves in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town are:
- Iron
- Silver
- Gold
- Orichalcum
Orichalcum newly upgraded and innovated Story of Seasons crafting. Orichalcum is extremely rare, but is required in the game to repair the Old Hydroculture Plant as well as upgrade after gold tools. A gold hammer is needed to collect this material with any kind of speed. It's also quite the grind to get, and players will need to get 5 ore to make just one ingot of Orichalcum.
Locations of Orichalcum
There is only one location in Olive Town that players can currently find Orichalcum: the lower levels of the third mine. Orichalcum only spawns on levels 42, 44, 46, and 48 on occasion, and it has a 100% drop rate on level 50 only. These rocks appear as a sort of teal colored, blue-greenish rock. Orichalcum can also be purchased from the Sprite shop for 2,000 sprite coins per ore, from the Boss Sprite that is one of the many NPCs in Story of Seasons: Olive Town.
If players are having a hard time finding Orichalcum in the third mine, they will also be able to find Orichalcum in Stonebreaker Valley. Once players have reached mining level 9, they will be invited by the Orange Sprite to go to a magic level of Stonebreaker which will be filled with silver, gold, and the occasional Orichalcum. However, these rocks don't respawn as quickly as those in mine three; players will have to wait several days instead of having them respawn everyday.
Making Orichalcum Ingots
Players will need 10 iron ore and 10 logs to make an Ingot Maker, which is a crafting station or Maker in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town. It takes five ore to make one Orichalcum ingot; there is no wait time for ingots. Players will get their Orichalcum instantly to upgrade their tools and fix the the Old Hydroculture Plant.
