Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is a brand new entry in the simulation RPG Story of Seasons series. It came out on March 23, 2021 on the Nintendo Switch, developed and published by Nintendo and Marvelous (XSEED). Olive Town is a quaint, beautiful little place established by the protagonist's grandfather and his mates. The player takes over his farm in particular, now that he is gone. Throughout the game, they plant lots of crops and raise lots of animals to keep the dream alive.

That being said, there is more to Olive Town than just tasty vegetables, adorable animals, mysterious Earth Sprites, and fun festivals. The player meets many residents too, and all of these characters are unique in their own ways. While tending to the farm is important, cultivating relationships is too!

Here comes the town bad boy, Damon. He is very friendly and loves coffee as well as motorcycles. Damon is unemployed, which is only odd considering literally everyone in the town works in some form or another.

He chills a lot, usually found wandering aimlessly throughout the streets in broad daylight. In the nighttime though, he hangs out at home (the Hoof House Animal Shop) with his mother, Patricia, father, Georg, and sister, Bridget.

9 Blaire Is Incredibly Hardworking

Although Blaire is "just" a waitress at the Capeside Bistro, she truthfully is an integral part of the family business and one of its hardest workers. She is quite sweet to everyone around her, and remains passionate about her family as well as food.

Blaire works beyond full-time, meaning that she's only during available during the late evenings. She can be found at Gull's Rest Hotel and Cafe, where she lives with her parents, Jason and Sally, and her brother, Mikey.

8 Emilio, A Chill Fisherman

Introducing the town fisherman, Emilio. He loves the ocean, of course, and is laid-back as well as easy-going. Emilio works with his father, Marcos, in the fish business.

7 Bridget Prefers Animals To People

Bridget is the town's veterinarian...sort of...not really. She works at the Hoof House Animal Shop as their secretary. Bridget loves animals (naturally) and is a bit shy when it comes to people. Yet, her quiet nature hides a kind soul.

She lives at the pet shop too, because her parents own it. Bridget's family consists of her mother, Patricia, father, Georg, and brother, Damon.

6 Iori Is A Noble Runaway

When it comes to sensitive boys, Iori is where it is at. He likes poetry, for crying out loud – and fishing too. Apparently, Iori comes from a noble family; he ran away from home and ended up in Olive Town.

While there is daylight, Iori is almost always fishing. If not, he is going for a stroll around town, lost in thought. When night falls, Iori is at his home (Iori's House) with Dosetsu.

5 Laura May Be From The Big City

Every town needs a tour guide, and Laura is this town's girl. She is highly sociable and extremely active in local affairs. Laura cares a lot about the town and loves sharing information about it with others.

The Tourist Information Centre is where she works, of course. When Laura is not hustling at the kiosk near the pier, helping others, she can be found at Norman's Groceries. That's where she lives with her dad, Norman. Laura actually has a mom, Sydney, who works in the big city. Was Laura born in Olive Town, or did she move there and fall in love with it?

4 Jack's A Pretty Average Guy

Jack is the town's average boy, to be blunt. He is kind of dense, gets distracted easily, and slacks often. Taking it all into consideration, Jack might be below average.

Still, he takes his job at Olive General Store seriously, working alongside his mother, Angela, sister, Cindy, grandfather, Simon, and grandmother, Jessie. When Jack is not working, he prowls around the streets of town.

2 Ralph Dedicates Himself To His Work

Here is the town's forest ranger, Ralph. In fact, he was born and raised in this very town. As expected, Ralph likes wildlife and nature, perfectly fitting for an outdoorsman.

Of course, when the sun is still out, he can typically be found outside working in the forest. Ralph even lives at the Ranger Station, hanging out there at night even when work is over. His father, Nigel, is the town's handyman too.

1 Reina Is Surprisingly Brainy

Reina may seem shallow, being a lover of makeup and beauty. But while it may not seem like it, she is smart too. Reina works at the Olive Museum as a relic appraiser, and can assess items that the player brings to her.

Reina lives at the museum, so she is almost always there. Sometimes, though, the player can find her taking a walk around town to get some fresh air.
