Stellar Blade has all sorts of materials that Eve will come across during her adventure. Many items will be randomly dropped from defeated enemies or found in chests, with some of them also being purchased from various stores.

Nano Elements are a useful material in that they upgrade Eve's Exospine, which gives her various bonus abilities and better base stats. There are many Exospines to choose from, each being upgradeable, making Nano Elements a recurring item players will need. Nano Elements come in multiple different rarities; here's how to get them all.

The Scrap Yard's Location On The Map

The more reliable way of obtaining each rarity of Nano Elements is by purchasing them in the Wasteland, though the merchant is readily available. Upon reaching the Wasteland head north to the Scrap Yard and begin the side quest Plan To Clean The Earth to help D1G-g2r escape from being trapped under the crane.

After this quest is complete, D1G-g2r will become a merchant that can be visited anytime to trade for Nano Elements, but he doesn't trade for gold. Instead, Micro Motors and Micro Drives, and Micro Coils are used as currency, with him selling each rarity of Nano Element:

  • Nano Element - Two Micro Motors and four Micro Drives
  • Advanced Nano Element - Four Micro Motors and eight Micro Drives
  • Extreme Nano Element - Six Micro Coils, 12 Micro Motors, and 24 Micro Drives.

Merchants like D1G-g2r have an unlimited stock of these items, and the "Available" value under the selected product refers to the number of that items the player has in their inventory.

Eve Getting Nano Elements For Finishing A Side Quest

Each version of Nano Elements can be found naturally while players explore the open world. They will all be possible loot drops from chests and can even be found lying on the ground indicated by a small blue light that can be picked up. These items are also offered as rewards for side quests, such as freeing D1G-g2r in Plan To Clean The Earth.

While it is possible to find these items in the world, there isn't a reliable farming method beyond exploring and happening across them randomly. Extreme Nano Elements are much more rare, and it will oftentimes be more worthwhile to go and purchase them than trying to find enough for your next Exospine upgrade.
