Developer Shift Up has revealed what players can get if they choose to pre-order Stellar Blade, its upcoming action RPG. Players who opt for a pre-purchase of the PlayStation 5 exclusive title can avail themselves of unique items and cosmetics.
Since it was first teased in 2021 under the code name Project Eve, Stellar Blade has garnered attention for its attractive visuals and character design, as well as its action-oriented gameplay. It also intrigued players who follow developer Shift Up, as the company was previously known for producing mobile titles and Stellar Blade was its first major console-focused project. Under the leadership of CEO Hyung Tae-Kim, Shift Up produced the mobile RPG Destiny Child in 2016 and launched the hybrid shooter-RPG Goddess of Victory: NIKKE in 2022.

Stellar Blade Pre-Order Bonuses
Now the official Stellar Blade PSN store page has been updated to list what players will receive if they decide to pre-purchase the game. Like many PS5 exclusive games, Stellar Blade will be sold in both Standard and Digital Deluxe editions, and both will include a pre-order bonus for players. The bonuses take the form of a pre-order exclusive costume, and accessories for the game's protagonist, known as EVE.

While all pre-orders of Stellar Blade will receive the Planet Diving Suit costume for EVE, as well as a pair of earrings and glasses, the Digital Deluxe edition nets players more in exchange for its higher price tag. Buyers of the Digital Deluxe Edition will get a second costume, the Stargazer Suit, as well as two more accessories in the form of Half-rim Glasses and Quadruple Rectangle Earrings for EVE. The Digital Deluxe Edition even has cosmetic items for supporting characters. EVE's companions Adam and Lily will be able to don the Stargazer Wear outfits, and the team's drone will gain the Stargazer Pack. On top of that, players will get a small head start from a windfall of SP EXP and in-game currency.
The pre-order bonuses outlined for Stellar Blade seem fairly minor in terms of granting players a gameplay advantage, but may appeal to those interested in having additional looks for EVE available. The game's character designs have so far proved to be a major selling point in the pre-release promotional phase. EVE's appearance in Stellar Blade is based on a South Korean model, so it's possible that she may already have some fans, months before the game is even released.
