Stellar Blade has two large regions that offer much more free-roaming than the more linear story missions. These open regions are the Wasteland and Great Desert, both offering tons of side quests to complete, enemies to fight, and loot to obtain.

While the size of each map seems to offer a ton to explore, there are also just as many secrets hidden higher above Eve's eyesight. While her jump and dash can help players explore and find many secrets, there are many more even better secrets hidden further out of the way and require the double jump to use.

How To Unlock Double Jump in Stellar Blade

Eve Approaching The Safehouse

The Double Jump is an ability in the skill tree, but players won't be able to purchase it whenever they want, like many other skills in the game. Luckily, obtaining this skill is tied to the main story, and can't be missed. The Double Jump is unlocked after completing the Altess Levoire mission in the Wasteland, and obtaining this skill will be one of the first things to happen during the Light Of Hope mission in Xion by returning to the Safehouse, from which Lily will upgrade Eve's suit. Completing Altess Levoire will rely heavily on Eve's new gun, making it important to upgrade it and give Eve additional options through Drone upgrades before attempting this mission.

How To Double Jump in Stellar Blade

Eve Using The Double Jump

The Double Jump functions as its name implies and gives Eve a second jump by pressing X while up in the air after an initial jump. This skill can be used anytime in the air after the initial jump and doesn't need to be done immediately if players want. Adding a delay between the jumps can help Eve reach even further places, or be done right before hitting the ground from a high up fall. This doesn't replace the Precise Landing skill and instead offers a slight delay to help players press X again to activate the skill in time.

The Double Jump can also be paired with Eve's Dash, giving her two jumps along with the Dash to jump across much larger distances. The Double Jump is much more efficient than the Dash, as after a Dash, Eve loses all momentum and falls, while a Double Jump continues her momentum. The Double Jump can also be used to change Eve's direction mid-air, for those changing their minds about making a jump midair.
