Stellar Blade's robust skill tree can be a bit daunting at first, but it can prove to be extremely useful in making your character much more powerful. That being said, for players who end up changing their minds down the line and plan to switch things up a bit, it is crucial to ensure that they are well aware of the respec mechanic.

Respec is a term for resetting the skill tree, and basically allows them to reinvest the SP they have earned into some other skills. For players wondering how they can do it in Stellar Blade, here is what they need to know about it.

How To Unlock Skills In Stellar Blade

Unlocking skills in Stellar Blade isn't that difficult, and all players need to do is take part in as many combat encounters as possible and use other perks such as the Ambush skill. This will allow them to gain some SP quickly in Stellar Blade, which can be used to unlock Skills. There is a gauge that needs to be filled in order to get SP, which gradually fills as the player defeats more and more enemies. Once a SP has been unlocked, players can then head to a camp and then unlock a skill.

How To Respec Skills In Stellar Blade

While players will find the option to reset their skill tree in the skill menu, it should be noted that they can't straightaway reset from the screen. Instead, players will need to first get an SP Initializer item to reset the skill tree. This item can be found in a plethora of locations, but probably the easiest of all is to just grab it from the vending machine that can be found in the camps scattered across the world. The item can be bought for 200 Gold. Gathering gold in Stellar Blade shouldn't be that big of an issue, since there are a plethora of ways to get it ranging from simply defeating enemies to finding boxes and completing side quests.

Once players have the SP Initializer, they can then use the reset skill tree option (Triangle button) to reset the skill tree in the skill menu. It should be noted that the reset option only applies to a specific tree, Attack, Survival, Tachy, Burst, or Beta. Upon resetting, players will get back all the SP they have spent, but the good news is that this will not have any restrictions. Players can use this SP back on any of the skill trees, irrespective of where they came from originally.
