There is more to Eve's Journey in Stellar Blade than what meets the eye. These tips might be useful before embarking on an epic journey again.

However, there is more than one way to make EVE stronger. In the game, there are materials known as Exospines that players can collect and put on EVE. Each Exospine serves a different purpose, so players should try to use the ones that are the best for EVE.

6 Beta Trance-type Exospine

Made For Beta Skills

Stellar Blade: Beta Trance-type Exospine

Players will have access to Beta skills very early in the game. Beta skills are much more powerful than regular attacks. They can take down courts of enemies in no time, which is why they cannot be used as frequently as regular attacks. Beta gauge can be upgraded by collecting cores. These can be obtained from the bodies of flying squad members. In order to fill the Beta gauge, players simply have to attack enemies.

Players who often rely on Beta skills in Stellar Blade need to equip Beta Trance-type Exospine on EVE. This particular Exospine increases the overall beta, recharges it faster while using high combo attacks, and increases the overall attack power of Beta skills scales by 30%. While it is a very good choice to increase overall damage, Beta Trance-type Exospine should be equipped only when the second Exospine slot is unlocked.

5 Burst Trance-type Exospine

Improves Burst Skills

Stellar Blade: Burst Trance-type Exospine

Burst attacks are stronger than the regular and Beta attacks. There is a red bar that is dedicated to beta energy. Unlike Beta skills, Burst skills cannot be upgraded with cores. Instead, players will have to rely on their perfect parry and dodge skills to recharge the Burst gauge.

Given the power of Burst skills, it makes sense to equip the Burst Trance-type Exospine. This will ensure that players get an increased amount of Burst energy and that Burst skills deal more damage. Since Burst skills are unlocked later in the game, the Exospine should only be used after that.

4 Impact-type Exospine

Good For Fighting Multiple Enemies

Stellar Blade: Impact-type Exospine

Impact and Chain-type Exospines go hand in hand. The Chain-type Exospine increases the attack of combos to a certain extent, and it also increases the damage caused by a critical hit. If the boost from Chain-type Exospine is not enough, then players can use Impact-type Exospine to further increase the damage dealt to enemies.

Impact-type Exospine focuses on improving the critical rate. Furthermore, it causes attacks to unleash energy waves that enhance the damage. By the time it is fully maxed, the unstable energy will deal even more chained damage to enemies.

3 Camouflage-Type Exospine

Great For Stealth

Stellar Blade: Camouflage-type Exospine

Camouflage-type Exospine is linked to Ambush, a skill that players can unlock from the Attack skill tree. After obtaining the skill, players can start using the Camouflage-type Exospine. This particular piece of equipment is meant to help players take down enemies in one move.

Stellar Blade has more than its share of challenges for players, but these bosses will give them the biggest headaches.

When this Exospine is fully upgraded, it will lower enemies' field of view, allowing players to sneak up behind enemies without too much trouble. This is extremely beneficial in the open world, as there are countless enemies roaming around, and sometimes it is better to just avoid them completely. When players Ambush an enemy, it will increase their attack by 17.5% for a limited period of time. What's more, it even restores HP by 15% after every successful execution. Overall, the Camouflage-type Exospine is among the best in the game.

2 Reflex-type Exospine

Best For Dodging And Parrying

Stellar Blade: Reflex-type Exospine

In Stellar Blade, there are a ton of different enemies, and each of them has a different attack pattern. It is not easy to memorize all of them, but the game gives players two options to circumvent this problem. One of them is the perfect parry, and the other is perfect dodging.

Both of these things are highly dependent on timing. If players press the button too early or too late, they could end up taking a critical hit, which would wipe off a chunk of their HP. To help with this particular problem, the developers have put the Reflex-type Exospine. When players upgrade this particular item to the maximum, it makes dodging and pairing attacks easier. This exospine is particularly useful for those who might have a tough time mastering Dodge and Barry. However, as players progress through the story, they might find something better suited to their needs.

1 Chain-type Exospine

Improves Regular Attacks

Stellar Blade: Chain-type Exospine

Chain-type Exospine is arguably the best Exospine in the entire game. It boosts the power of regular attacks. Most of the time, players will use regular attacks to fight and defeat their enemies, which is why this Exospine is absolutely phenomenal. The Exospine boosts attack by 27% after the second combo.

When the combo level reaches four and above, the critical rate increases by 30%. If this wasn't enough, the Chain-type Exospine also increases critical damage by 23%. The combination of all these things makes it hard to ignore the Chain-type Exospine. With the correct gear, the damage can be increased further.
