Highlights

  • Accepting Adam's offer but not completing Lily's progress bar results in the worst ending, with Eve doomed after tragic events.
  • Refusing Adam's offer leads to a neutral ending where Eve must fight him, but at least she returns to the colony with Lily alive.
  • The best ending in Stellar Blade involves completing Lily's progress bar and making specific choices to ensure a victorious outcome.

Stellar Blade is an extremely successful RPG that was developed by Shift Up and released by Sony Interactive. It follows the story of Eve and her squad as they fight against the Naytibas, an evil species that took over Earth in order to save Earth from these evil creatures.

In the end, players can obtain three different endings, depending on their choices. The major choice players will make is during one of the final quests, "Selection of Species," and once one is obtained, players can start on the New Game Plus. Here is a breakdown of those endings and a rank of them, from the worst one to the best.

Stellar Blade has many features that make it unique, but these games may satisfy those looking for another gaming experience like it.

3 The Cost Of Memories

The Worst Ending

Stellar Blade - Cost of Lost Memories

This is the worst ending that players can obtain in the game. In this ending, Eve takes Adam's hand and accepts his offer. However, during this moment, Lily will lose control over her Exosuit and will be forced to turn on Eve, making Eve kill her. After that, Mother Sphere sends an army after Eve, leading to the screen fading to black, insinuating that Eve is doomed.

For this ending, players will need to accept Adam's offer. However, if done, this ending is only obtained if the player does not have 100% of Lily's progress bar completed (done by collecting collectibles). If they do, they will get a good ending to the game. They will receive this ending if they don't have 100% for Lily's progress bar.

2 Return To The Colony

The Neutral Ending

Stellar Blade - Returning To The Colony

This ending is certainly better than the worst one, but it still isn't the greatest one that players are able to obtain. In this ending, once Adam shows Eve his true form, she feels betrayed and does not accept his offer. Eve will kill Adam, and she and Lily will return to the colony, being praised by the Mother Sphere for completing their mission and being victorious.

Stellar Blade is packed with riveting action that will keep players on their toes. Here's how to master the game's intricate combat system.

This is the only outcome players can obtain if they refuse to take Adam's hand during the quest. If Eve rejects his offer, she will have to fight him, which will lead to her becoming victorious and killing him. As he is humanity's last hope, humanity is doomed, making this a terrible outcome for not only Eve, but for everyone who was relying on being able to return to Earth.

1 Making New Memories

The Best Ending

Stellar Blade - Making New Memories-1

This is, by far, the best ending for the game. Considering it is the only one with a cutscene after it is completed, it is also the one that fans believe is the canonical ending (though this isn't confirmed). In this ending, things play out almost identically to the worst ending, except Lily survives the encounter. After surviving and angering Mother Sphere, Eve and Lily defeat the army thrown at them and are then seen placing the last Hyper Cell inside the colony before those around them celebrate their victory.

To obtain this ending, players must ensure that they have completed 100% of Lily's progress bar (done by collecting collectibles throughout the game). If this is done, Lily will take Eve to Eidos 9, an otherwise inaccessible area before the final fight. If players have had access to Eidos 9, they will be guaranteed to get the good ending if they side with Adam. Lily will only survive and allow players to obtain this ending if they have done this.
