Valve's Steam Deck is now only a few weeks away from launch and many fans are excited to get their hands on the anticipated handheld gaming PC. While still able to be used on the go, it seems as though many pictures of the Steam Deck do not show how big it really is in comparison to some other handhelds.

One Twitter user seems to have been able to acquire a Steam Deck early and compared the handheld gaming PC to various other pieces of gaming tech in order to give fans an idea of how big the handheld gaming PC will really be. The Twitter user showed pictures of the Steam Deck next to a Wii U controller, an original PSP, a PS Vita, a banana, and some of the gaming PCs rivals like the GPD Win 3. The Wii U controller seemed to be the closest in size to the gaming PC, while both the PSP and PS Vita were absolutely dwarfed by the Steam Deck.

The size of the Steam Deck is not the only large thing about it. The Steam Deck has been noted as having over 100 verified games. Included in these 100 games are Dark Souls 3, Death Stranding, Life is Strange 2, Psychonauts 2, Hades, and Aliens: Fireteam Elite. While this does not even nearly encompass Steam's gargantuan library, 100 games is certainly a good start for the handheld gaming PC.

The reason for the large number of supported games is most likely the result of the Steam Deck being exceptionally easy to work with. One of the programmers from the game Valheim mentioned how surprised he was at how well games worked on the Steam Deck. He also stated that Valheim was working on the handheld from close to day one.

The Steam Deck is set to launch on February 25, however, the first batch of handhelds should only ship by February 28. This is as Valve will be sending out invites to those who reserved a Steam Deck, after which they will have three days to decide if they still want a device. Consumers will then have to pay the balance of the price of the Steam Deck they choose after the payment of their reservation fee.

There will be 3 different Steam Deck models, with the 64GB base model going for $399, the 256GB SSD model going for $529, and the top of the range 512GB SSD model priced at a rather pricy $649.

Steam Deck is due to release on February 25.
