Asssassin's Creed Valhalla may have released all the way back in November of 2020, but the latest installment in the stealth action RPG franchise is still going strong thanks to a lengthy core campaign and post launch DLC. The latest addition, Wrath of the Druids, takes the Eivor and company to Ireland for some brand new challenges and rewards.

The DLC should be live in most parts of the world at this point, but players can check out the exact release times here. Once the content is available in a player's region, there are a few things they'll need to do to trigger the start of a new series of quests that will introduce some key characters and push the Assassin's Creed Valhalla narrative in a new direction to setup the trip to Ireland.

Getting started is actually fairly simple this time around. To begin, after downloading the latest update, players should be greeted with a tip screen on their first login that reminds them about the release of Wrath of the Druids and offers some brief directions about the best ways to dive into the new content. The promo text will mention that a new visitor has arrived at Ravensthorpe's docks, so that should be a clear indication of what to do next.

After speaking to Azar, players should be all set to continue forward with the Wrath of the Druids content. This conversation will spark a chain quest that sets everything into motion going forward. As always in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, there will be plenty of room for player choice, exploration, and going off the rails once the core mission is started and the players have met the new NPC and started down the DLC's path.

The Wrath of the Druids era of Assassin's Creed Valhalla is just getting started, so players should have plenty of activities to dive into and stay busy with in the coming weeks. There's a lot to soak in once players have unlocked the new region and quests, so be sure to fully explore all the new areas and find as many of the hidden treasures as possible.
