Starship Troopers Terran Command brings players to the frontline in the war against an alien threat. Based on the cult movie franchise Starship Troopers, this title lets players control the action as they hold the fate of humanity within their hands. As the movies often say, "The only good bug is a dead bug," so players should prepare to lock and load as they charge into a war for the future on PC.

This title is still in development, making this clip its first official showing. Players got their first taste of how the units act and a good look at the kind of combat that they will eventually have to confront. The game is intended to include base-building, strategy themes, and a whole lot of bugs.

In Starship Troopers Terran Command, players lead the Mobile Infantry in ground-based assaults. The demo released by developer Slitherine Games showcases a "Canyon Ambush" in which multiple squads must hold off an onslaught of bugs. In the clip, the developers demonstrate maneuvering squads, tactical use of explosives as an ever-increasing swarm marches towards the troopers.

One of the more exciting moments is when a massive Beetle surges from the ground and begins to soak in the infantry fire, just like in the films. In a similar fashion, the Mobile Infantry uses a variety of explosive options to cause a spectacular explosion of red goo to rain upon the battlefield. While the developers have more work to be done, fans of the Starship Troopers franchise can rest easy knowing that the game will include explosions, gore, and a never-ending swarm of man-eating bugs.

Starship Troopers Terran Command is in development for a PC release.
