Highlights

  • Starfield players have been constructing impressive spaceships since the game's release, and recently one player recreated the Naboo N-1 starfighter from Star Wars.
  • The recreation is remarkably close to the original spacecraft, including its twin radial engines and distinctive yellow finish.
  • The player shared a detailed list of parts used and screenshots to help others recreate the Naboo N-1 starfighter in Starfield. The vessel is both stylish and functional, with forward engines that are fully operational and a well-designed hull.

One Starfield player and an apparent Star Wars fan managed to recreate the Naboo N-1 starfighter in Bethesda's latest title. Their feat of engineering is just the latest in a long list of incredible spaceships that Starfield players built since the game's early September release.

Among many other complex mechanics, Starfield offers an elaborate system for building and customizing ships. While the feature itself is entirely optional, many fans found the opportunity to build their own spacecraft from the ground up too good to pass up.

That demographic also includes Reddit user Megatroidskittles11, who recently went through the effort of making a fully functional Naboo N-1 starfighter from Star Wars in Starfield. The end result of their engineering endeavor is remarkably close to the spacecraft that first appeared in The Phantom Menace, not least because it successfully recreates the starfighter's twin radial engines and signature yellow finish.

In an effort to elaborate on their achievement, Megatroidskittles11 even shared an exhaustive list of parts they used, as well as some additional screenshots of the vessel captured in Starfield's ship builder. Those materials should prove to be a great starting point for anyone looking to follow in their footsteps and create their own Naboo N-1 starfighter in Starfield. The central piece of the spacecraft's body is the Nova Galactic All-in-One Berth, a two-by-one block that helps capture the look of the original starfighter's slim hull branching into its twin engines.

While many of the most original Starfield spacecraft designs that surfaced online so far have largely been constructed out of Structural parts that are entirely cosmetic, that's not the case with this impressive take on the Naboo N-1 starfighter; not only are its forward engines fully functional, but its entire hull makes great use of the game's components in order to blend both style and substance. As a result, the vessel does a seamless job at combining amenities like an armory with some rather high-end weaponry into a package that wouldn't look out of place in the Star Wars universe.

For a spacecraft that was primarily looking to mimic an existing design, this Naboo N-1 starfighter recreation boasts some rather respectable stats that should make it capable of taking on enemy gunships even on the game's hardest difficulty. Due to its engine of choice, the vessel ended up being categorized in the C reactor class, meaning that it requires the fourth rank of Starfield's Piloting skill to operate.

Starfield is available now for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
