Bethesda's new open world sci-fi RPG Starfield has gone gold, with fans able to preload on Xbox starting August 17 and on Steam starting August 30. Multiple delays later, Bethesda has finally wrapped development on Starfield and is preparing to ship it out to the masses.

It's the first original IP from Bethesda in decades, and not only that, but it's the company's first single-player game since 2015's Fallout 4.
