Bethesda's massive galactic RPG Starfield gives players an incredible variety of choices to make and stories to unfold throughout the game, including getting into the black market Aurora trade on Neon. While a riskier, less moral pathway, players can dive into this side world by completing the Loose Ends mission and earning the favor of Yannick Legrande at Legrande Liquors.

Starting Loose Ends

Neshar can be found in the holding cell at Neon Security HQ

While exploring the city of Neon in Starfield, players may encounter an arrest between local Neon security and a gentleman named Neshar. After witnessing this encounter, players will gain the activity Speak to Neshar in Jail.

Head to Neon Security and head to the back to find the holding cells; Neshar will be located in the leftmost cell. Initiate a conversation with him, and Neshar will inform players of a delivery he was expected to bring to a man in town named Yannick. Despite being incarcerated, Neshar still wishes to deliver the shipment to prove his loyalty to Yannick and will ask players to go to his sleepcrate to acquire the package and deliver it to Yannick on his behalf. If players agree, the Loose Ends mission will begin.

Heading to the Sleepcrates

After the conversation with Neshar is completed, players will want to make their way to the Ebbside neighborhood and find the sleepcrate manager Izna Sundararaman. Speak to Izna and use the authorization code to gain access to Neshar's sleepcrate, C-153. Once the conversation with Izna is completed, players will want to follow the building of sleepcrates around to the outside edge and will find Neshar's package in a storage crate inside C-153.

Side Task: Exploring the Evicted Sleepcrates

Additionally, while conversing with Izna Sundararaman, she will offer layers the opportunity to purchase sleepcrates previously owned by now-evicted tenants. For 1000 credits a piece, players can buy the right to scavenge up to three sleepcrates. If players decide to accept Izna's offer, the first crate, C-203, will be found directly behind players to the left. Players may find a pharmaceutical kit inside, but ultimately, little loot will be found. The second crate can be found a few doors to the right of C-203, and again, players will find little of value.

If players decide to acquire the third and final sleepcrate, they will have to navigate to the underfloors of Neon. Follow the marker to the elevators and find B-101 tucked in the back corner after exiting the second elevator. Inside, players will find a good batch of loot, including potential packs, suits, a digipick, and a hackable safe loaded with credits, ammo, and a new weapon.

Dealing with Felix

After acquiring Neshar's package, deliver the goods to Yannick at his shop in Neon, Legrande Liquors. While conversing with Yannick, players will be asked to help with the blend business, as Yannick's two main workers are now unusable with Neshar in jail. Yannick will tell players to find his other employee, Felix, and make him disappear however players see fit.

Players will find Felix in Ebbside in a warehouse behind Madame Sauvage's Palace - follow the path to the left, take the first right before the stairs, and find the warehouse entrance to the left. Inside the warehouse, players will find Felix is being held hostage by some Syndicate members, so be prepared for a short firefight.

Players taking the stealth approach may be able to sneak attack the first few targets on the first floor, but be aware of the surroundings as Syndicate members can drop down from the second floor to get behind players. Be careful not to hit Felix in the firefight, or players will not be able to initiate a conversation with him and will be forced to kill him to complete the mission.

Once all Syndicate members have been dispatched, players will be able to talk to Felix and convince him to leave Neon of his own accord. Felix will respond in a pretty hostile way to the news that Yannick is betraying him; however, the right conversation responses can ultimately lead to a peaceful resolution. Less patient players or those opting for a less moral playthrough can simply kill Felix to remove the loose end.

When finished exploring and looting the warehouse, players will want to return to Yannick at Legrande Liquors and inform him that Felix is no longer in the picture. Yannick will offer his thanks, as well as proposition further partnership. At this point, players will complete the Loose Ends mission and open up a new line of missions working undercover for Yannick.

Starfield is available now on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
