A Starfield player designed a custom ship modeled after a standard suburban abode. Starfield players have built some nifty ship designs in the short while since the game came out.

Dropping in September as the first original Bethesda IP in a quarter of a century, Starfield has helped move units on Xbox Series X/S consoles and become the company's biggest video game launch in history. With its interstellar open-world map, emphasis on inclusivity in its character customization, and the ability to build custom spaceships to navigate the world map with, it's easy to see why it was one of the most anticipated games to come out in 2023. Since launch, players have taken advantage of its customizable elements and shown off whatever wacky or ingenious creations they've made.

Starfield Bug Turns Cora Coe Into an Adult

Players have come across some curious bugs in Starfield, and one glitch causes the young Cora Coe to spontaneously grow up to become an adult.

One of such Starfield players was Reddit user Disastrous-Manager95, who showed off a spaceship they designed that is shaped like a house, with an exterior made up of many repeated and stacked parts. While none of the interior was revealed, the ship reportedly contains "too many" ladders, with players having to climb up four floors to reach the cockpit. It was also intended to be larger, but the process of building it helped the user realize the limit on units for ship construction, and thus they shrank the ship for the final build. The user also revealed in a reply to someone's comment that they had not come up with a name or color-scheme for the ship yet, and did not want to show off any pictures of it in action until they did. Thus, they implored their fellow Redditors to help come up with the former.

Many in the comments appeared amused by this ship design. Several offered ship names as requested, while others took the time to crack jokes, ranging from Madness lyrics to even references fo Pixar's Up. Pop culture references peppered the name ideas as well, including Zathura, GoldenEye 007, and even the logo for Home Improvement. Disastrous-Manager95 responded positively to most name suggestions, usually with a quip.

Perhaps the greatest thing about customization features, especially nowadays, is the ability to see what fellow players come up with. This title is no exception, with Starfield players having built custom ships referencing classic properties among other things. It should be neat to see what else fans of this action RPG can come up with further down the line.
