  • A Starfield player built a faithful in-game replica of the Brotherhood of Steel's Prydwen zeppelin from Fallout 4.
  • The fan hinted at using mods, console commands, or both in order to finalize their design by raising the ship module limit.
  • They did opine that the ship could also be recreated in the vanilla version of the game, though it would have to be a bit smaller.

One Starfield fan with some seriously impressive engineering skills managed to recreate the Brotherhood of Steel's Prydwen zeppelin from Fallout 4 in Bethesda's latest RPG. Their astonishing achievement thus extends the ever-growing list impressive Starfield ships that the fans put together since the game first hit the market in late summer.

While Starfield is by no means lacking in compelling activities, its shipbuilding mechanics have so far proven to be one of its biggest allures, at least as far as the tinkerer's among the fandom are concerned. As a result, Starfield players already constructed some truly incredible custom ships, ranging from entirely unique designs to high-effort recreations.

Starfield Player Points Out Weird Issue With Pistols

Some Starfield fans take to social media to discuss what they consider a weird issue with pistols in Bethesda's space-faring RPG.

The latest example that falls in the latter category comes from Reddit user lolsforalls23, who recently managed to put together a faithful Starfield replica of the Prydwen from Fallout 4. Their spacecraft does a great job at mimicking the design of the gigantic zeppelin from the latest single-player Fallout game, not least because of its massive hull and cargo bay that span seven levels in total. Although most ship modules in Starfield share a similar futuristic look, lolsforalls23 still managed to combine them into a faithful recreation of the Prydwen's iconic steampunk design. The player also nailed the original vessel's color palette, which is dominated by shades of black and dark gray.

Bethesda's galaxy-hopping RPG limits custom ships to 130 modules, which makes a 1:1 recreation of the Prydwen impossible to engineer without mods. In order to circumvent that restriction, lolsforalls23 advised players to either mod their game or use console commands to raise the vessel module limit, albeit without clarifying which of the two options they themselves used. Reflecting on their achievement, the fan opined that a similar build should still be possible in the vanilla version of the game, so long as the player is prepared to sacrifice some scale. For clarity, apart from the aforementioned module limit, Starfield also limits the width and length of custom vessels to 131 feet (40 meters) each.

This impressive spacecraft is the first known Starfield recreation of one of the most breathtaking Fallout 4 locations that is the Prydwen. And while its creator was clearly aiming to nail a specific look, that's not to say that they ended up sacrificing function over form. On the contrary, their take on the Prydwen boasts an immense cargo capacity, holds ten crew slots, and packs enough shielding to withstand some serious punishment. It also comes with enough firepower to make short work of pretty much any enemy vessel, on top of having the maximum Grav jump range of 30 light years.

This Prydwen replica adds to the list of Fallout-inspired spacecraft that Bethesda fandom managed to build since early September. Another such vessel surfaced online last month in the form of a Starfield ship shaped like the Cazador insect from Fallout: New Vegas.
