Quick Links
Ship Services Technicians are essential merchants in Starfield since they’re the ones who help players with everything Ship-related. From repairing, buying, and selling, to even modifying every detail in Ships, Technicians are the go-to in all of these situations.
When modifying Ships, visiting multiple Technicians can prove useful as each of them has a unique amount of parts to add to the Ship. Additionally, these NPCs are not always presented as Ship Services Technicians; some of them have unique names and are more involved in Starfield’s content.
The Eleos Retreat – Ixyll
The Eleos Retreat is an area located in the Ixyll system. To find the Ixyll star, go northeast of the Starmap above the Kryx star.
Inside the Ixyll system, search for a planet called Ixyll two.
Find The Eleos Retreat area and land on it. The Ship Services Technician should be right in front of the landing inside a small shop.
New Homestead, Deimos Staryard, And Cydonia – Sol
Sol system is home to three Ship Services Technicians in Starfield. To find the star system, open the Starmap and find it just above Alpha Centauri, the first system players visit to kick off the main quest.
New Homestead
Inside the Sol system, players can reach the New Homestead area by finding the Titan, one of the moons of Saturn planet.
Land on New Homestead and the Ship Services Technician should be right in front of the Spaceship.
Deimos Staryard
Deimos Staryard is a little tricky to find since it’s located right under Mars and the merchant is not called Ship Services Technician.
Once players travel to the Deimos Staryard Spaceship, get close to it until the option to Dock appears. From inside, take the stairs down and find Nikau Henderson.
Cydonia
Finally, the last Ship Services Technician is located on Mars.
Land on Cydonia and the Ship Services shop should be on the left, right next to the Mining Colony with the Technician standing in front of it. If the Technician isn’t standing there, players can find them in the corridor leading to the Mining Colony of Cydonia.
The Den – Wolf
The Ship Services Technician located on The Den doesn’t sell Spaceships but allows players to repair their ships or modify them. To travel to The Den, jump to the Wolf system and find the Chthonia planet. The Den should be right next to it.
Move closer than 500M and board The Den. Inside, the Ship Services Technician should be standing in front of players.
Paradiso And Red Mile – Porrima
Porrima system has two Ship Services Technicians where players can buy ships, repair them, or add new parts like Cargo Holds in Starfield. Players can find the Porrima star right under the Kryx star and east of the Volii system.
Paradiso
The first location is Paradiso in Starfield. Find the Porrima ll planet since Paradiso is an area on it.
Land at Paradiso and the Ship Services Technician should be right next to the Ship, checking some boxes. He can be hard to find since he’s well-dressed and can be completely in the dark at nighttime.
Red Mile
To find the Red Mile in Starfield, navigate to the Porrima lll planet and land on it.
After landing, keep moving forward and enter the Red Mile Hotel to find Lon Anderssen.
Hopetown – Valo
Valo is a star system hidden right under the Narion system in Starfield.
Find a planet called Polvo and jump to it.
Hopetown should be there and players can jump on it. Just like most other areas in Starfield, the Hopetown Ship Services Technician can be found standing right in front of the Ship.
Stroud-Eklund Staryard – Narion
Grav jumping to Narion, players can find Stroud-Eklund Staryard above the Deepala planet.
Board the Stroud-Eklund Staryard Ship and find Havershaw inside, sitting behind one of the desks.
The Key - Kryx
The Key Ship Services Technician is the hardest to find and interact with among Starfield Technicians. Players must Grav jump to the Kryx system under the Crimson Fleet control, which will get the Ship attacked by hoards of enemy Ships.
To prevent such drama, make sure to finish the Deep Cover Faction Quest in Starfield. If players didn’t get the quest yet, just go and slap someone in New Atlantis…
After finishing the Deep Cover Faction Quest, traveling to The Key should be a piece of cake.
Board The Key and take a left turn to reach the Cargo Bay. Inside, Jasmine Durand should be waiting to help as one of the Ship Services Technicians in Starfield.
Neon And Taiyo Astroneering – Volii
The Volii star houses two Ship Services Technicians in Starfield. The star is located south, in the middle of the Starmap, close to the Olympus system.
Neon
Find the Volii Alpha planet and land in Neon.
The Ship Services shop should be right there in the landing area.
Taiyo Astroneering
The second Ship Services Technician is inside the city, in one of the areas under the Ryujin Industries’ control. Head to the Terminal area where there’s an elevator that leads into the Neon Upper Platform.
Once the elevator reaches its destination, take the left road and keep moving straight to the end.
At the end of the road, enter the Ryujin Tower and keep moving forward to the elevator at the end. Choose the Taiyo Astroneering Floor and search for Veronica Young, the Ship Services Technician for the Ryujin Industries in Starfield.
Akila City – Cheyenne
Players who progress in the main quests of Starfield will surely come across Akila City. To find the City, travel to the Cheyenne star system in between Narion and Kryx on the Starmap.
Inside the Cheyenne system, find the Akila planet that unsurprisingly has Akila City.
Take the road leading to the city. Just before getting inside the gate, the Ship Services shop should be right next to that gate.
New Atlantis And Gagarin Landing – Alpha Centauri
Alpha Centauri and New Atlantis are not a new territory for any player in Starfield.
New Atlantis
Navigate to the Jemison planet, then land in New Atlantis.
Near the Ship landing area, players can find New Atlantis’ Ship Services Technician.
Gagarin Landing
Surprisingly, there’s another Technician in Alpha Centauri. Find the Gagarin planet and land in Gagarin Landing.
Just like the others, the Ship Services Technician should be standing right there near the landing.
Starfield is available now on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
