  • Starfield offers a unique RPG experience with a vast universe to explore, along with excellent quests and character interactions.
  • Fans are eagerly searching for any hidden teases or hints about The Elder Scrolls 6 within Starfield.
  • Fans previously thought a Starfield trailer revealed TES6's setting, and Starfield itself may hide clues.

After almost a decade in development, Starfield is finally out, and for many fans the wait has been more than worth it. While Starfield certainly isn't perfect, with plenty of UI and loading screen issues, it does offer an RPG experience that no other game really has, giving players a gigantic universe to explore at their own free will. It also packs a good deal of that universe with excellent quests and character interactions that easily rival some of the best in all of gaming.

From the mines of Mars, to the utopian skyscrapers of New Atlantis, to the Wild West-like Akila City, to the cyberpunk-inspired Neon, Starfield is filled with instantly-iconic locations, most of which go down as some of Bethesda's best. With such a vast universe to explore, it's going to take most players a very long time before they've seen everything that Starfield has to offer, and for some die-hard Bethesda fans, they won't rest until every stone has been turned, hoping to find some kind of Elder Scrolls 6 teaser buried somewhere in the universe.

An Elder Scrolls 6 Tease Could Be Hidden Somewhere in Starfield

Announced all the way back in June 2018, it seems fair to say that The Elder Scrolls 6 is one of the most anticipated video game sequels of all time. While The Elder Scrolls has always been a popular franchise, Skyrim brought the series to new heights, and now The Elder Scrolls is a household name. So, naturally, there are a lot more fans looking forward to The Elder Scrolls 6 than any previous series entry, and that hype is only going to grow the closer fans are to the game's eventual release. However, that might be some time away still.

The Elder Scrolls 6's early announcement is now widely known to be a bit of a mistake on Bethesda's part. Coming hot off the heels of the disastrous launch of Fallout 76, Bethesda needed to remind fans of its successes, and an Elder Scrolls 6 announcement was the best way to do that. While it's now known that Bethesda has only just started properly working on The Elder Scrolls 6, fans were led to believe that that had been the case since 2018, and naturally, this has led to a lot of speculation surrounding the appearance of another teaser trailer.

Back in November of last year, a new Starfield trailer aired, and many fans were convinced that the trailer contained a tease for The Elder Scrolls 6's setting. Fans claimed that a scratch visible on the starship's dashboard looked eerily similar to Elder Scrolls' Iliac Bay, which is located just between High Rock and Hammerfell, which fans believe will be the setting for The Elder Scrolls 6. Though Bethesda never confirmed or denied this potential tease, it only spurred fans on to try and discover more possible teases in Starfield's promotional material, and of course, that same sect of fans will now be spending all of their waking hours scouring Starfield for any sign of an Elder Scrolls 6 tease.

While Bethesda isn't afraid of referencing its past games via Easter eggs, dialogue, or characters -- such as the Adoring Fan making a return in Starfield -- it's never really been its MO to tease upcoming games inside its current one. But it is technically possible that Starfield could be the one to break tradition. With such a huge universe to explore, it might take determined fans quite a while to discover any potential Elder Scrolls 6 teasers in Starfield.

Starfield is available now for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
