A new trailer from Bethesda during Sunday's Xbox Games Showcase has officially revealed Starfield's Shattered Space expansion. The DLC will thrust players into a mysterious abandoned star station, filled with horrifying creatures around every corner and heavy horror-themed aesthetics. The DLC is set to add a full new planet for players to explore, packed with unique weapons, enemies, and a deeper exploration of the lore of Starfield's House Va'ruun. The trailer re-confirms the DLC for a 2024 launch, with Todd Howard previously estimating a Fall 2024 release window.

Starfield Unveiled New Shattered Space DLC

Alongside the reveals for the Shattered Space DLC, the announcement trailer also confirmed more new content coming for Starfield. The video teases a new mission with Starfield's "Trackers Alliance," introducing new locations to the game alongside new gear for players to pick up. The content update will also add more custom content to Starfield, featuring creations made both by the Bethesda team and members of the game's community. Starfield's "The Vulture" mission and new custom content will launch later tonight.
