6 Founding Constellation

In 2275, Sebastian Banks founded Constellation with the building of The Lodge in New Atlantis. Constellation started with such optimism, with the sheer desire to explore the stars like they had not been explored before. Sebastian Banks had a vision for Constellation, to find the answers of the galaxy and the universe, to uncover the mysteries of the human condition and what awaits them as the universe grows and time continues.

Despite being known as rock stars and pioneers of space adventures, by 2330, the pleasures of space travel, and the questions without answers saw a dwindling faction enter into obscurity. What was once known as the last group of space explorers, soon became a dwindling question on whether Constellation was still a thing. The question of what’s out there was Sebastian Banks’ driving factor, but the public seems disinterested in the answer that would never come.

5 Troubles With Va’ruun

Not much is known about House Va’ruun. Despite being known as the third government in the Settled Systems, they have all but disappeared. House Va’ruun worships the Great Serpent, which they see as more than just God. The extent of their cosmic territory is unknown, and their capital is in an unknown system, completely protected against those who dare try to investigate that are not part of House Va’ruun.

In fact, across the star system, House Va’ruun seems to have an abundance of spies. One of which, is a member of Constellation. Andreja may seem like a distant member of Constellation, but her career started as an agent of house Va’ruun. Andreja was sent to Constellation to watch the members and to see what secrets they were uncovering. Yet, she was caught, and instead of being run out, was asked to join them. Yet, it remains to be seen just what Va’ruun wants with Constellation, and why other factions have taken no interest.

4 The First Artifact

Players start their journey into Starfield after they touch a mysterious Artifact. In touching this Artifact, players see the unknown, yet it asks more questions than they receive answers. However, this is not the first Artifact that is found in Starfield, but it is just the beginning. The first person to witness the true majestic nature of the Artifacts was Constellation’s very own Barrett.

Barrett is as cunning as he is intelligent, and he started Constellation down the path of collecting the Artifacts ever since he touched the one that they had stored in the Lodge’s archives in 2326. The mystery of this Artifact led Barrett and the other members of Constellation to uncover what they believed could be the secrets to the galaxy, reinvigorating their desire for discovery.

3 The Members Of Constellation

2 Finding Vasco

Vasco is one of the first members of Constellation that the player will meet in Starfield. Vasco may not offer much personality due to his lack of independence and programming, but he is a valued and loved member, even if he does not understand what love actually is. Vasco was designed by Lunar Robotics and was actually discovered decades prior to the player meeting him.

Vasco was found by a former member and Chair of Constellation, Sir Malcolm Livingstone. Vasco was found in Akila City in a junkyard and has been assisting in Constellation operations for the past 43 years, with hopefully many more to come. Vasco treats Constellation like family, even if he doesn’t really understand it.

1 Morals Of Constellation

Constellation doesn’t have any enemies across the galaxy, nor do they have allies. Constellation often remains neutral in matters that do not involve them, as their love is for the stars, not for the wars within. Members of Constellation are always welcome from any background, and that’s because of their moral standpoint and love for adventure and weird mysteries.

Constellation also has a set of morals. Whilst they are not laws to live by, they are in fact morals set in stone that players should follow. Constellation members do not kill innocent people, and they do not cause harm to those who do not deserve it. If players do not stick by these tenets, then the members of Constellation could turn against them.

Starfield is out now on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
