Nevertheless of his desire for money, Alexei Lebedev is a great doctor who will help players in their journey, whether that’s a quick patch-up, a Trait fix, or selling a few essential Aid items that will have players survive more gunfights in Starfield. Alexei Lebedev has a lot of goodies to purchase, with some being more affordable than others.

6 Terra Firma

Alexei Lebedev terra firma

Terra Firma is a trait that players can take as an optional addition to their character creator at the start of the game. With Terra Firma, players will have increased Health and Oxygen when they are on the surface of a planet or moon but decreased Health and Oxygen when they are in space or on a spacecraft. Luckily, there’s a way to remove this Trait for those who have it, but it's a big decision to get it removed.

Players can head to Alexei Lebedei’s clinic and tell him about how they are not accustomed to space, and that it makes them feel sick. Alexei Lebedev will talk of this rare condition, and say that he can start a procedure to remove the Terra Firma Trait for 10,000 Credits. It’s worth doing for those who want to remove the Trait, but an optional purchase nonetheless.

5 Med Pack

med pack

Like all Aid items in Starfield, the Med Pack tops them all. The Med Pack is just great for everything it does, and players will want to keep themselves hoarding these items in a heavy supply. The Med Pack is the default healing item that is known throughout the settled systems for its properties in futuristic medicine, as players will be granted a 4% increase in their health recovery over a period of 10 seconds.

Players can use as many as they want in battle to increase the effectiveness of the Med Pack, ensuring that their health is constantly regenerating, and constantly seeing a surge of Health enter their body so that they can keep up the fight against anyone who stands in their way, shotgun or not.

4 Heart +

heart plus aid item

The Heart Plus item will improve the player’s fortitude and pain tolerance. It gives players a 20% boost to their health for 2 minutes and increases their Damage Resistance by 200 for 2 minutes. This makes the player an unstoppable killing machine, capable of utter destruction and death of anything and everyone that walks in their path for these 2 minutes thanks to this enhancement boost of future scientific medicine.

Heart + is great for when there are just too many enemies, and players are stuck behind cover waiting for a miracle to happen. Luckily for them, Alexei Lebedev sells that miracle in the form of Heart +, which will easily help players brush past those pesky enemies without the use of console commands.

3 Zipper Bandages

zipper bandages

Zipper bandages can be used to treat Afflictions such as Contusions, Lacerations, and Punctured Wounds. On top of the ability to cure afflictions that may plague the player due to their dangerous activities and intergalactic lifestyle, Zipper Bandages can also be used as a stronger form of bandage that will allow a 150 bonus to Damage Resistance for 5 minutes.

Zipper Bandages should only really be used when under the faults of an affliction, and players are in need of a quick cure. They do not offer the health that players might seek from other aid items, but it is still effective for ensuring a large bout of Damage Resistance against the best pistols and other arsenal of weapons.

2 Boudicca

Boudicca aid

This futuristic asthma pump grants increased resistance to damage and fortifies oxygen. The Boudicca item provides a stat boost of 30 O2 for 3 minutes, and 300 Damage Resistance for 3 minutes. This ensures a great layer of defense, as the extra Damage Resistance enables players to shrug off more trauma, hits, stabs, and any other wounds that may cause them harm without the Boudicca aid item to help them.

The extra O2 is also a great addition, as it means players can run and jump without the risk of losing Oxygen, and they can swing and hit with melee weapons without the fear of losing their breath and needing a minute to lie down and recuperate.

1 Battlestim

battlestim item

With a Battlestim at the ready, the player can prepare for war. This chemical was designed to improve pain tolerance, and it does just that thanks to its 250 Damage Resistance bonus stat that is granted to the player for a whopping 5 minutes. It’s rare that a fight will last as long as 5 minutes in Starfield, so players should use a Battlestim and get ready to rip and tear.

In these five minutes, players will be able to shrug off more damaging attacks than usual and resist the urge to use healing items that will have them hiding in a corner waiting for the effects to take place. The Battlestim works immediately, and its effects can be of great use to the warriors of space combat out there, or to people who just want to tolerate the Adoring Fan.
