The NPCs in Stardew Valley add depth and charm to this beloved farming simulation game. Each of these diverse characters has a unique personality, schedule, and backstory. The first person players meet when they get off the bus in Stardew Valley is Robin. Robin introduces herself as the town’s local carpenter. She is responsible for various construction and upgrade projects around the Valley.
Robin is truly passionate about woodworking and is known for her friendly and helpful personality, always ready to assist the player and other townsfolk. As players get to interact with her and know her better, they can build a long-lasting friendship with Robin.
Where Does Robin Live?
Robin lives with her husband, Demetrius, and their children, Sebastian and Maru, in The Mountain. She owns and runs The Carpenter's Shop, which is located within her home at 24 Mountain Road.
The Carpenter’s Shop serves as the primary destination for players to purchase essential resources like wood, stone, and furniture. Players can also get new farm buildings constructed on the farm and upgrade their Farmhouse at the Carpenter’s Shop. The Shop is open most days from 9 AM to 5 PM, except Tuesdays. Additionally, it closes early on Fridays. However, Robin’s house remains accessible from 9 AM to 8 PM every day, even when the shop is closed.
The Carpenter’s shop remains closed on all Festival days.
Robin’s Schedule
Robin follows a fairly straightforward schedule, making it easy for players to track her down. She can be found at the Carpenter's Shop from 8 AM to 5 PM every day, except for Tuesdays and Fridays. After her work hours, Robin typically spends some time outdoors in the Mountain area until around 7:30 PM.
- On Tuesdays, Robin participates in exercise classes near Pierre's General Store alongside Emily, Caroline, Jodi, and Marnie. These exercise sessions start at 1 PM and end at 4 PM.
- On Fridays, Robin closes her shop early at 4 PM. She heads over to The Stardrop Saloon with her husband, Demetrius, where they dance the evening away.
Even on rainy days, Robin keeps her shop open from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Robin’s Favorite Gifts
Like all other NPCs in Stardew Valley, Robin has a preferred taste in gifts. Players can give Robin gifts twice a week to increase their friendship with her. Gifts given on her birthday (Fall 21) have eight times the effect on friendship.
