In the quiet and peaceful farmlands of Stardew Valley, where every day is a new adventure, fishing is considered a beloved pastime. During this leisurely time, catching the best fish remains the main goal, including the enigmatic Void Salmon, known for its exquisite beauty and versatile applications.

The Void Salmon is a fish of varied difficulty and its size varies anywhere from 24 to 66 (Inches). Gold or iridium quality Void Salmon can be used in the Missing Bundle at the abandoned JojaMart. This guide uncovers all potential locations to find this captivating fish in Stardew Valley.

Where to Catch Void Salmon

Witch's Swamp is one of those areas that needs to be unlocked in Pelican Town. This unique fishing location becomes accessible after completing the Dark Talisman Quest. The entrance to the swamp can be found in the northeastern part of the Railroad area.

By unlocking this area, players will be able to use the river for fishing. The Void Salmon can be found in all seasons and is available to catch at any time of the day.

Uses of Void Salmon

The Void Salmon can be used to create different recipes, such as the delicious Maki Rolls, or Quality Fertilizer which improves the quality of the soil and increases the likelihood of growing quality crops, not to mention the tasty Sashimi.
The Void Salmon can be processed in the spool of the sewing machine to create a fishing hat.
This fish can be used as a source of purple dye at the dye pots located in Emily's house.

Fish Pond

By placing the Void Salmon in the Fish Pond, they will re-produce after every four days. Initially, the pond can only hold one fish, but after completing 4 quests, its capacity increases to 10. When the population in the pond reaches three, the water's color turns purple, resulting in the production of purple Void Salmon Roe. As the population increases further, reaching eight, more valuable items will become available in the pond.
