Stardew Valley gameplay begins with players moving to the countryside with just a few hand-me-down tools and some gold. From growing crops and raising animals to fishing and collecting resources in the Mines, the game perfectly techies players how to start building a farm from scratch.

In Stardew Valley, tools come in handy when it comes to farming, fishing, and even mining. As players progress in the game, they need to upgrade their tools to become more efficient. Players can repair their broken tools or get them upgraded at the local Blacksmith’s shop.

Where to Find the Blacksmith in Stardew Valley

Clint owns and runs the Blacksmith Shop situated to the east of town,across the river. Players need to cross the river to find a rustic, traditional-looking building just north of the Museum. This building is also Clint’s home – he sleeps in a small bedroom located in the back.

Clint’s Blacksmith shop is open every day from 9 am to 4 pm, except Fridays. On Fridays, Clint heads to the restored Community Center and spends the day in the Boiler Room.

Services at the Blacksmith Shop in Stardew Valley

The Blacksmith’s Shop provides various services. These include upgrading tools, breaking open geodes, and smelting all kinds of ores into bars.

Clint can break open any geode found in the Mines for 25 g. Players can find minerals, ancient artifacts, gems, and stones inside them.

Trading Stock

Players can also purchase valuable resources from the Blacksmith, although the prices increase from Year 2 onwards.

Tool Upgrades

Additionally, players can get their four main tools and the Trash Can upgraded at the Blacksmith. Clint takes two days to upgrade a tool to a higher quality. Upgraded versions of the tools enable players to perform their tasks more efficiently and with less effort.
