What Does Green Rain in Stardew Valley Do?
Although many players' first encounter with Green Rain in Stardew Valley is random, this weather condition is predictable and is preceded by certain events:
- Firstly, Green Rain only happens in Summer and will never take you by surprise at other times of the year. However, it can happen any day.
- The second condition is a weird weather forecast on TV. The day before the rain, a Weather Report on TV will state the following: “Um... There appears to be some kind of... anomalous reading... I... don’t know what this means...”
- In addition, there will be a strange noise on all channels.
Waiting until the next day and going outside, you will encounter Green Rain. This rain will not harm you, so you can calmly walk under it without fear of damage or deadly consequences.
You will likely also notice a lot of greenery filling the entire area when you look around. Almost every tree and bush will be covered in Moss, more weeds will grow everywhere, and large vine-like shoots of Fiddlehead Fern will appear in some places.
