Many Stardew Valley players have been enjoying the game's recent 1.5 update which introduced new locations, characters, and items. This update, however, has only been made available for PC players with console players not yet being able to experience it.

Luckily for console players, the developer of Stardew Valley, ConcernedApe, has announced on Twitter that the console update has been submitted to certification. This means that console players can expect to see the 1.5 update either by the end of January or the beginning of February.

The 1.5 update for Stardew Valley allows players to do a variety of new things as well as gain access to multiple new quality of life features. This includes a lost and found box, the ability to sit in chairs, the ability to place furniture outside, and much more.

While some may be confused about why it took so long for this update to come to consoles, reading the patch notes help reveal this to be one of Stardew Valley's biggest updates to date. Those who haven't played in a while will be able to see and experience many new things that will soon be available to them.

This new content isn't just for players who have reached endgame content, as many of the new items and quality of life changes can be experienced from the game's start. This means that those who haven't yet played Stardew Valley will be able to quickly see these improvements as well.

Stardew Valley is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
