Yesterday, Twitch streamer Apelordmoz was playing Stardew Valley. Suddenly, he was forced to stop, as what sounded like gunfire could be heard outside his home.

Apelordmoz is a Twitch account with 768 followers. During his recent stream of the farming game Stardew Valley, he was interrupted by an alleged gunfight in the streets outside his house. The clip has already earned over 70,000 views on Twitch and is being re-posted across social media.

Yesterday, Apelordmoz found himself in a relaxing moment of gameplay in Stardew Valley. Back at his farmhouse, he was restocking his inventory and forges. A moment passes where Apelordmoz doesn't speak when suddenly, a burst of gunfire is heard through his microphone. Shocked, Apelordmoz manages to say that he believes a gunfight is happening outside his house. Following this, the viewer can hear the unmistakable bursts of more gunfire.

The clip was quickly re-uploaded to the subReddit r/LivestreamFail and has earned over 3,000 upvotes, which alongside the impressive view count on Twitch, now looks set to go viral. On Twitch, xQc has been encouraging viewers to support smaller channels, and watched the clip during his stream. It quickly became the 2nd most viewed Stardew Valley clip of all time. The growth will likely be beneficial for Apelordmoz's channel. Best of all, Apelordmoz has tweeted about the clip afterwards, suggesting that he is in good health following the frightening incident.

Somehow, Apelordmoz managed to show incredible professionalism despite the circumstances in which he found himself. Apelordmoz calmly conveyed to his audience that he was going to the basement to shelter, and cut his stream to a "be right back" animation during the gunfire. A much less abrupt ending than when xQc's stream ended early because he forgot to pay his electric bill. Most importantly, it appears Apelordmoz made the sensible decision to move to a safe location in his home.

Apelordmoz's experience isn't the first time a Twitch streamer has found themselves in a scary situation during a stream. The popular streamer Guy "Dr Disrespect" Beahm, who is trying to get unbanned from Twitch this year, once ended his stream after his house was fired upon in 2018. The shot, which shattered an upstairs window in Beahm's house, can also be heard during the stream. Similarly, many streamers have been "swatted" during streams, placing them in dangerous positions.

Thankfully, Twitch streamer Apelordmoz avoided any harm, and his channel will likely benefit from the exposure that this shocking situation has created. Hopefully, he will be back to streaming, safely, soon.

Stardew Valley is currently available for Android, iOS, macOS, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
