Stardew Valley Was the Most Played Steam Deck Game in March 2024

Over time, the Steam Deck is becoming an increasingly viable way for players to enjoy their favorite games on the go. More games are becoming Steam Deck-verified, from new titles to old favorites, such as Stardew Valley. Over the last twelve months, the most-played game on the Steam Deck was Baldur's Gate 3, although titles such as Dave the Diver, Palworld, and Red Dead Redemption 2 also made the top-ten list. This just showcases the variety of games that are available on the Steam Deck, and the gaming community should only expect this to become more commonplace going forward as Valve continues to commit to the platform.

As for Stardew Valley itself, the future remains bright. It is already one of the best games on the Steam Deck, and ConcernedApe has continued to fix small bugs discovered in the wake of the 1.6 update. Evidently, the community is here to stay for the foreseeable future, so it makes sense to continue supporting Stardew Valley. It's great to see a developer commit to perfecting a single game like this, especially when developing a sequel would be a guaranteed hit.
