A veteran Stardew Valley player with over 2,000 hours of playtime has discovered another thing that can be done with plushes in the game. Over the years, Stardew Valley has enjoyed enduring popularity, with gamers often finding new things to do in the farming simulator.

Among the many reasons gamers enjoy Stardew Valley is the plethora of furniture that can be used to decorate their homes. While there are basic objects like chairs, couches, and tables, the game includes some rare items, such as the Junimo Plush. As the name suggests, this plush is based on the Juminos in Stardew Valley and is a secret piece of furniture. While players have placed these plushes inside their homes, one veteran gamer learned something else that can be done with them.

Over on Reddit, a user known as youkaymelis revealed that plushes found in the game can be tucked into beds in a player’s Stardew Valley house. In the post, the player shared a screenshot evidencing this discovery. The image showed the Reddit user’s character between a pair of beds with a Junimo and a Large Futan Bear tucked in them. According to the post's title, the player had been playing the game for over 2,000 hours before they “accidentally” found out they could tuck in their plushes.

While this came as a shock to youkaymelis, they were not the only ones surprised by this discovery. Since sharing the post on Reddit, more than 4.5K members of the Stardew Valley community have upvoted, with many intrigued by this detail. “This is the greatest discovery in awhile,” one user claimed. Many echoed this sentiment, noting that they had no idea that tucking in plushes was possible in the game. Furthermore, some wanted to know how to do this.

Fortunately, youkaymelis quickly replied, explaining how they discovered this while playing Stardew Valley. According to the Reddit user, they uncovered this secret while moving furniture around their house, which they recently upgraded. They said they were attempting to place their plush bear between a couple of beds, but they moved the wrong way and placed it in the bed instead.

It is impressive that Stardew Valley, a game that has been out for over seven years, continues to surprise players. In addition to the content already in the game, ConcernedApe has revealed that a new update is coming in the future. While Stardew Valley update 1.6 will bring fresh content for fans to check out, such as a possible iridium scythe, even more discoveries in the current version of the game are likely to be uncovered in the meantime.

Stardew Valley is available now for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
