Stardew Valley Player Notices Tree Detail After Years of Playing

A Stardew Valley player that's already dedicated years to the game realizes they've missed a key detail about trees in the game.

Now, a gamer called OhItsJustJosh has just shared the wholesome story of their mom, a 61-year-old woman who loves Stardew Valley. According to OhItsJustJosh, their mother had played the popular farming simulation game for 1,338 hours at the time of writing. She was so interested in the cozy farming title that she took handwritten notes on several aspects of the game, including likes and dislikes of some characters, as well as recipes. OhItsJustJosh also shared some pictures of their mom’s notes, which included several pages of information she discovered. The post was widely popular with the Stardew Valley community, obtaining over 4,200 upvotes.

Stardew Valley Has Many Hardcore Gaming Moms Among Its Fans

This is not the first story of a hardcore gamer mom to appear in the Stardew Valley community. Last year, a gamer shared with the community that their mother spent over 700 hours playing Stardew Valley on their Switch. In this case, it was the son who originally introduced the game to his mother, who played it for hundreds of hours, surprising him with the discovery of how dedicated she was to her virtual farm.

Not all gamer moms make their own guides when playing Stardew Valley, though. Earlier this year, a player created a Stardew Valley guide for their mom. The guide had 14 pages, and it included several tips on how to play Stardew Valley optimally, including some ways to make money quickly, how to explore some areas such as the Skull Caverns, suggestions for a daily schedule, trackers for collectibles, and much more. The guide was praised by the community, which generally thought this was a very sweet act, and that the guide was pretty good, as it was much more straightforward than visiting a wiki for information.
