Stardew Valley is a megahit among indie titles, and with good reason. The base game was celebrated, but its developer, ConcernedApe, has been hard at work releasing updates for the title ever since, adding significant amounts of content in the process. Players are still discovering new things about Stardew Valley's 1.6 update. No matter the version of the game, though, every player will recognize the basic home their farmer starts their new life in.

Unlucky Stardew Valley Player Loses Some of Their Best Items

In a stroke of unfortunate luck, one Stardew Valley player shares their recent loss of some of their most valuable in-game items.

Stardew Valley player Sinqnew shared their 3D miniature recreation of the Stardew Valley farmer's home with fellow fans on Reddit. The recreation is charming, and was made by first creating a 3D model of the home and then printing it with a 3D printer. From there, the artist hand-painted the miniature, including the fine details. The rough terrain in front of the home, including little tufts of grass, roof shingles, and the stack of firewood near the door are particularly impressive.

According to Sinqnew, they made this particular miniature and the JojaMart seen behind it to sell at a gaming convention in an art booth. Apparently, the house sold so quickly that they didn't get more than a couple of pictures of it before it was gone. The fan was wondering if it might be appealing at a con, and it seems they were quite successful in finding fans who wanted to make it a part of their personal collection.

The Stardew Valley Home

After players get through the basic introduction of Stardew Valley, one of the first things they're introduced to is their new abode. The house, along with the dilapidated farm, were left to the player by their Grandfather. Over time, with enough materials and money, the player can expand and improve their home, adding new rooms and a different cosmetic appearance on the exterior. Upgrading the home is essential for being able to cook a variety of stat-boosting meals and aging products in casks in the cellar.

While the upgraded house is preferable for most players and numerous Stardew Valley mods exist that alter the appearance of the farmhouse, the charming look of the single-room cabin the player starts with has likely stayed with many avid players of the game like Sinqnew and the fans who scooped up the miniatures.
