The charming world of Stardew Valley is not limited to growing and harvesting crops. The game allows players to keep diverse varieties of animals on their farm – ranging from small chickens to majestic horses. Each animal adds a unique touch to the player’s virtual agricultural journey.

Acquiring their first farm animals and selecting the perfect pet in Stardew Valley is a significant milestone for any player. Animals are sweet and innocent creatures that need someone to take care of them. Marnie is an NPC in Pelican Town who manages all aspects of animal and livestock care. She owns Marnie’s Ranch and runs a shop dedicated to serving the farming community.

Where is Marnie’s Ranch Located?

Marnie’s Ranch is located near the northeast area of Cindersap Forest. Players can easily access it through the south entrance of their farm. The Ranch is occupied by Marnie, her nephew Shane, and niece Jas. Marnie sells animals and animal supplies in her shop.

Marnie’s shop is open from 9 am to 4 pm every day, except Mondays and Tuesdays, but her shop remains closed on Fall 18 and Winter 18. However, the Ranch house is accessible from 9 am to 6 pm every day, even if the shop is closed.

Livestock

The following animals are available for purchase at Marnie’s Ranch. Players can get all these animals and livestock for their farm. They provide different kinds of produce, such as eggs, milk, and wool, that can be sold for profit. However, players must keep in mind that some animals require them to upgrade the farm buildings.

Marnie will not sell animals if the building associated with them is under construction or undergoing an upgrade. Players can get their farm buildings upgraded from Robin at the Carpenter’s Shop.
