Stardew Valley fan justaskmycat shared a photo of the neat Krobus jack-o-lantern they carved for Halloween. One of the more mysterious characters in the game, Krobus is a shadow person who lives in the sewers beneath Pelican Town. While shy at first, Krobus can warm up to players if given gifts and spoken to frequently, similar to other NPCs. He also sells a variety of unique items, such as void eggs and the Monster Fireplace, a few crafting recipes, and lucrative items such as iridium sprinklers and the Return Scepter. Unlike most of the characters in the game, Krobus is almost never seen interacting with other NPCs, save for a cutscene with the dwarf. As such, players who take the time to befriend Krobus often find that he is an endearing and underrated character who deserves more recognition, such as having his face carved into a pumpkin.

Fellow Stardew Valley fans were delighted by the spooky yet cute Krobus jack-o-lantern. Many were happy to see the iconic shadowy figure getting some love from fans. One comment suggested carving a jack-o-lantern with a Stardrop, a rare fruit in the game, to pair with the adorable Krobus.
