Where to Find Jade

Jade can be found in the Mines from Floor 40 onward. You will either find it as Jade Nodes, Gem Nodes, or enemy drops. Jade is also a common item in Fishing Treasure Chests that you find in the waterways.

  • Jade Nodes. Once you reach Floor 40 in the Mines, you will see greenish stones in the corners. Breaking these rocks yields Jade. Gem Nodes follow a similar pattern, but their outcome is unpredictable; it may or may not result in obtaining Jade.
  • Enemy Drops. Tiger Slimes, Blue Slimes, and Dwarvish Sentries have a 2-10% chance of providing you with Jade. The likelihood of acquiring this gemstone is 2% for the Slimes and 10% for the Sentries.
  • Fishing Treasure Chests. Each chest has a 4% chance of giving you Jade.

How to Duplicate Jade

To farm Jade, use the Crystalarium. The device can duplicate each gemstone in a few hours, enabling you to reproduce it on your farm. You need 99 Stones, 5 Gold Bars, 2 Iridium Bars, and 1 Battery Pack to build a Crystalarium—and your Mining Level must be 9.

The duration of the duplication process depends on the rarity of the gemstone employed. In the case of Jade, the process takes one hour and sixteen minutes.

Best Uses of Jade

Jade doesn’t have any specific uses in recipes. A strategic way to maximize its value is by exchanging it for Staircases. On Sundays, the Desert Trader offers a deal where you can acquire one Staircase per Jade, proving to be a lucrative option, especially in the later stages of the game. Additionally, Jade can enhance the Critical Hit Damage of your melee weapons when used in Foraging.

Furthermore, presenting Jade as a gift to Clint, Emily, or Dwarf is a thoughtful gesture, as they hold a particular fondness for this item. However, most other characters show a neutral response to Jade, offering no additional friendship points.
