How to Get Text Signs in Stardew Valley
The text sign is a craftable item, which essentially means you do not need to spend any gold to buy it. Instead, you can just craft it yourself using the necessary ingredients. Luckily, there is only one ingredient in the Text Signs recipe: Wood. To make one of these signs, you'll need 25 pieces of wood. It might sound like a lot, but getting wood is actually pretty easy in Stardew Valley. There are three ways you can get it in the game:
- Cut trees or clear tree branches using an axe.
- Purchase from Robin’s Carpentry Shop.
- If you are lucky, you can also find some wood in the Treasure Chests.
Once you've collected the required amount of wood, go to the main menu and click the hammer icon. Then, look for 'Text Sign' in the list of crafting items and just click on it to craft a Text Sign.
How to Craft and Use Text Signs in Stardew Valley
Once crafted, you can put in whatever message you want for the villagers, co-op players, or even yourself! After crafting it, you can place your sign anywhere in the town. The message will appear in a chat bubble whenever you walk by the sign. The game also allows you to change the message whenever you want. To do so, simply approach the sign, click on it, and edit the message.
