When starting to develop the Museum in Stardew Valley, you will have to donate many valuable artifacts, one of which is the Prehistoric Scapula. In addition to the fact that this item goes towards the general donations to the museum, it is also one of the parts of the prehistoric skeleton, which you can recreate in one of the museum rooms. However, as with any fossil, searching for this part will require a long time of painstaking work.

Like other parts of this creature's skeleton, you can find the Prehistoric Scapula sometimes in both Pelican Town and Ginger Island.

Where to Find Prehistoric Scapula in Stardew Valley

Skeletons in Stardew Valley

To find Prehistoric Scapula in Stardew Valley, you can use one of two methods:

  • Dig from Artifact Spots and Bone Node.
  • Get it as a drop from Skeleton.

If you prefer classic archeology and frequently wander around the surface of the game world, you should check out Artifact Spots. More specifically, you should look for worms in the ground in Cindersap Forest and Pelican Town, where the chance of finding Prehistoric Scapula is about 5% and 0.7%, respectively. Alternatively, you can head to Ginger Island and search the local Bone Nodes and have a 0.8% chance of finding what you want.

But if you prefer combat, you should go to Mines and fight regular Skeletons. There is about a 0.5% chance you will receive a Prehistoric Scapula. It is unknown how the bone of an ancient animal ended up in a humanoid skeleton, but the main thing is that it works.

Prehistoric Scapula in Stardew Valley

Since the Prehistoric Scapula skeleton of an ancient creature, it would make sense to spend it to recreate this mighty beast. Once you've collected the Prehistoric Scapula, Skeletal Hand, and Prehistoric Skull, you can take these items to the museum to create the Sloth Skeleton L. It is only one of three skeleton parts, but the rest is just a matter of time.
