While accessories are not a must-have for your adventures in Stardew Valley, the Fairy Box is something you will want to have with you as you descend into the lower levels of the mine.

Added as part of Update 1.6, this Trinket is one of the best passive healing sources in the game, as it requires no action from the player. That said, this item also has weaknesses. Searching for this item will take a lot of time, but those hoping to speed the process up can use this guide for support.

Where To Find A Fairy Box In Stardew Valley

Cave in Stardew Valley

To find a Fairy Box in Stardew Valley, players must go to Mines and kill all the monsters they meet. There doesn't seem to be a specific monster that guarantees an increased chance of getting this Trinket, so it all depends on your luck. However, players should note that the chance of receiving this particular item is low. Because of this, it is vital that gamers prepare themselves for several days of underground exploration.

How To Use A Fairy Box In Stardew Valley

Fairy Box in Stardew Valley

After spending some in-game days underground and finally receiving the desired Fairy Box, you can equip it. To do this, open your inventory and place the Fairy Box in the star slot, the outermost cell to the right of your character icon. Once this has been done, a little fairy will appear next to you, and they will follow and heal you as soon as you lose health.

As stated above, the effect of a Fairy Box is passive, so you won't have to worry about activating it in the heat of battle. However, this item is not perfect and has flaws. More specifically, the health regeneration rate it offers is relatively low, which means you will not be able to fully rely on this Trinket as your sole source of health regeneration. Low speed is not a problem in peaceful locations, but those who descend deep underground should be sure to stock up on food and medicine supplies, too.

To sum it up, it's hard to deny that the Fairy Box is one of the best Trinkets in Stardew Valley. This item will provide excellent support during explorations of the lower levels of Mines. But the fairy’s power is not limitless, so players should always aim to have other sources of health restoration on hand.
