A Tent Kit lets you set up a one-time-use tent for the farmer to sleep and restore their energy without having to trek all the way back to the farm. This is a complete game-changer since you can stay out exploring longer and won’t have to worry about losing any of your valuables.

How To Get A Tent Kit
Since they are single-use items, the most reliable method to get tents is to craft them yourself. The crafting recipe for Tent Kits is automatically unlocked when you reach Foraging Level 8. The materials required are:
- 10 Hardwood
- 25 Fiber
- One Cloth
Fiber is a fairly common resource obtainable by harvesting fiber seeds or cutting down weeds on the farm. On the other hand, Hardwood can be collected by chopping down Mahogany Trees or large stumps and logs around the farm.
Cloth is a bit harder to get a hold of but is usually dropped from Mummies in the Skull Cavern. You can also get Cloth by processing Wool at a Loom or recycling a Soggy Newspaper at the Recycling Machine.
It’s recommended that you stockpile these resources and store them inside a Big Chest , so you can craft a tent whenever needed.
How To Get Free Tent Kits
If you haven't reached Foraging Level 8 yet, there's no need to worry. You can find a box containing a set of three Tent Kits on Ginger Island in the eastern jungle's lower right corner, near a palm tree.
Alternatively, you can also get one Tent Kit as a reward for participating in the Trout Derby mini-festival in Summer.
How To Use A Tent Kit
Tent Kits are strictly an outdoor item and can only be placed outside. To use a Tent Kit, simply hold it and place it down anywhere on the ground. Once placed, interact with the tent to sleep for the night.
Just like sleeping in your bed, the game will save your progress and the farmer will wake up the next morning with full energy. However, the tent will disappear when you wake up, preventing repeated usage.
