In the Community Center Bundles found in Stardew Valley, you'll need to fetch a number of different items, including gems, animal products, and even cooked dishes. Many of these dishes you can create after receiving their recipe, getting them as a gift, or purchasing them from a nearby vendor.

How to Unlock the Maki Roll Recipe in Stardew Valley

There are two different locations where you can pick up the recipe for Maki Roll. You can either:

  • Unlock the recipe by watching The Queen of Sauce on Day 21 of Summer, Year 1
  • Unlock the recipe by purchasing it from the Stardrop Saloon for 300g

You can watch The Queen of Sauce on any television nearby, whether in your house or someone else's. It will be the last channel available, and you'll only be able to receive the Maki Roll recipe if you watch the show on Day 21 in Summer, Year 1. The recipe for Maki Roll at Stardrop Saloon, however, is available for purchase throughout every season. Once you finally have the recipe on your hands, you will need these ingredients to make a Maki Roll:

  • 1x Any Fish
  • 1x Seaweed
  • 1x Rice

Where to Find Maki Roll in Stardew Valley

If you're curious about how you can pick up some Maki Rolls outside of cooking them with the recipe, there are a few different ways you can obtain them. This includes:

Krobus' Shop can be found within the Sewers once you unlock this area. The garbage can outside of Stardrop Saloon will be on the right-hand side, and you can rummage through it to find random food items. Occasionally, Linus will send you some mail that will contain random items, and this can sometimes include a nice Maki Roll.

How to Use Maki Roll in Stardew Valley

Besides cooking a Maki Roll for yourself, you can also use it for a few different requirements. You can use the Maki Roll for:

  • Chef's Bundle on the Bulletin Board in the Community Center
  • A Dark-Gray Shirt (Requires 1x Maki Roll and 1x Cloth)
  • Gifting to a villager
  • Sell for 100g to 330g (With Qi Seasoning added)

You'll definitely want to save at least one Maki Roll to complete the Chef's Bundle if you're looking to complete the Community Center. As for gifting this item to a villager, all of them like Maki Rolls, except Willy, Krobus, Leo, Emily, and Evelyn. There is also a specific dark gray shirt you can make using a sewing machine that requires one Maki Roll along with one piece of Cloth.
