How to Get Magic Rock Candy in Stardew Valley

Players can get their hands on the rare Magic Rock Candy in the following ways:

  1. Haunted Skulls found on random dungeon floors in the Mines and in the Quarry Mines have a 0.13% chance of dropping Magic Rock Candy when killed.
  2. Pelican Town’s Museum contains a library and a gallery that is used for displaying the museum’s collection. On donating 90 items to the Museum’s collection, players are rewarded with one Magic Rock Candy.
  3. Located in the Calico Desert, The Desert Trader sells a wide range of exotic items, including Magic Rock Candy. However, this merchant does not accept gold and prefers to trade for different items. Players can purchase one Magic Rock Candy every Thursday in exchange for 3 Prismatic Shards.

Prismatic Shard has a 25% chance to be found inside a Mystic Stone located on Floors 100+ of the Mines, or in the Skull Cavern and Quarry Mines.

Perks of the Magic Rock Candy

The Magic Rock Candy significantly restores the player’s Energy by 500, and Health by 225 points. Additionally, this rare candy can be sold for 5,000 gold.

Unique Buffs

Buffs temporarily boost a player’s stats and abilities. Eating the Magic Rock Candy provides players with Buffs that last for 8 minutes and 24 seconds. These include:

  • Mining +2
  • Luck +5
  • Speed +1
  • Defense +5
  • Attack +5
