Crystal Fruit is a highly profitable foraging fruit in Stardew Valley, especially when made into Artisan Goods. It can be located only in the Winter season, but is worth picking up whenever you come across it. It can also be used to create Winter Wild Seeds, giving you an assortment of seeds of foraged fruits.

Crystal Fruits are relatively easy to find through foraging, but there are other, lesser-known methods you can use to obtain some as well. There are specific locations on the map you can visit to more easily find Crystal Fruit, and we will show you the best way to get it.

How to Get Crystal Fruit in Stardew Valley

Crystal Fruit is most often found through foraging in Winter, but there are a few other ways you can pick it up. This includes:

The chance for Dust Sprites to drop Crystal Fruit is pretty low at only 2 percent, so the best way to get Crystal Fruit is through foraging. In particular, you'll want to visit the Bus Stop and Cindersap Forest to find Crystal Fruit, as this is where they appear the most. You can find the first two images above as a reference.

They will also occasionally appear near the Train Platform, though we did not often find them here. Most of the ones we were able to gather were in the forest and Bus Stop. Also, if you're able to get your hands on some Winter Seeds from the Traveling Cart, or through your own crafting, there's a chance they'll grow into Crystal Fruit. The Traveling Cart can sell these seeds anywhere from 100 to 1,000g.

Outside of being sold alone or as an Artisan Good, Crystal Fruit has a few other uses as well. This includes:

  • Used in the Winter Foraging Bundle in the Community Center Crafts Room
  • Used in the Winter Wild Seeds recipe (1x Crocus, 1x Crystal Fruit, 1x Snow Yam, 1x Winter Root)
  • Used to tailor a blue shirt
  • Used in a few Help Wanted Board requests, and in an Ice Pip Fish Pond quest

Make sure to save a few Crystal Fruits to complete the Winter Foraging Bundle in the Community Center, especially since these fruits will not appear again until next year, when Winter rolls around. You can also save some Crystal Fruits to create a batch of Winter Wild Seeds, which will require you to forage for Winter Root, Crocus, and Snow Yam as well. Each time you craft these seeds, you'll get a pack of 10 in return.
