There are many discoveries to make in Stardew Valley. As an in-depth farming and life simulator, there's always enough to do to warrant becoming a second life of sorts to some dedicated players. But even the most die-hard fans might pull their hairs out trying to find the Dwarf Scroll 4. While the first three scrolls in the series come easy enough, some players may have convinced themselves that the Dwarf Scroll doesn't even exist. With this short guide, a reliable method for obtaining the fourth Dwarf Scroll in Stardew Valley will become clear.

It's worth the time to collect the full set of Dwarf Scrolls. These items can be donated to the Museum, counting towards the overall total of items donated for extra rewards. More notably, donating all four tiers of the Dwarf Scrolls will reward the player with the Dwarvish Translation Guide. With the Translation Guide, the player can talk to the Dwarf in the town mines, the Dwarf in the volcano dungeon, and they can read the Dwarvish gravestone in the Graveyard. It's a task that players will need to complete to reach 100% completion of Stardew Valley.

How to Get Dwarf Scroll 4 in Stardew Valley

Dwarf Scroll 4 can drop from most monsters. Monsters that won't drop the scroll are Serpent, Skeleton, Wilderness Golem, Carbon Ghost, Iridium Bat, Iridium Crab, and Haunted Skull. While some players may luck into a Dwarf Scroll 4 by killing monsters, the most reliable method is from tilling. There is a small chance to obtain Dwarf Scroll 4 by using a hoe to till on floor 80 or beyond in the Mines.

Entrance 2 - Stardew Valley MInes Tips

Tilling the sandy areas of the Mines can yield other items or Artifacts aside from just the Dwarf Scroll 4. Using this method to search for artifacts can be tedious with a basic hoe, though. Upgrading to a Copper, Steel, Gold, or Iridium Hoe will greatly increase the area that can tilled at once. While this won't directly increase the drop rate of the Dwarf Scroll 4, the process will be sped up considerably if a superior hoe is used.

Of course, going into the Mines unprepared is asking for trouble. Not only is the area a hotspot for gathering, it's also an area where the combat element of Stardew Valley comes at the player in full swing. Delving as deep as floor 80 or further in search of a Dwarf Scroll 4 can be considerably dangerous, so players should make sure to know the Mines well before going too far.

Collecting all four Dwarf Scrolls is just one of many side objectives that players can pursue in Stardew Valley. A deep game that has received multiple large updates since release is certain to keep fans engaged for many, many hours. For those who have managed to see and do all there is and still crave more, there's the option to expand Stardew Valley with mods. With a fanbase that's just as passionate about the game as the developers, it is sure to always have more to give.

Stardew Valley is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
